Hello, allow me to introduce myself my name is Daniel Christopher Quay. I was born in San Pedro Sula Honduras November 3rd, 1982 at aproximently 5:50 a.m. Under the name Daniel Christopher Aguilera.
My birth mother was Norma Ondina Aguilera Polanco. She was all of 22 years of age, and was a single mother, and a home worker. At the request of my mother I was given up for adoption due to the extremely poor and underprivileged conditions that surrounded her.
I was put into the care of who are now my parents Ronald Chester Quay, and
Martha Jane Doyle who were both of legal age, and who were married to each other
and both U.S. citizens. Since
being in the U.S.A I have moved a few times and have been privileged to do so.
I know that my life is far greater, and
the opportunities that I have received, and yet to still receive are far more
then I could have imagined then had I been raised in San Pedro Sula.
I won’t go into my life story but here is a brief description of the
places I have experienced in my journey.

Morristown, NJ is where I attended High School and went through a lot of downs
and a lot of ups in my adolescent years.
I was a typical teenager who had an act to rebel against authority (But
who didn’t at that age). I wasn’t
very good at school and eventually dropped out in my senior year due to some
incidents that I fell into. I didn’t drop out to sit on my ass though; I earned
me State Diploma before I would have graduated anyway.
I still wanted to go to college, I still had dreams.
Oh yeah and Morristown wouldn’t have been Morristown without my future baby
mother Shakyra Marie Matos. We had
experienced a lot together and she was there when I needed her. Those were
definitely some of the best years of my life.
I am grateful to have crossed paths with such a beautiful person.
She became the mother of my son November 8th 2002(That’s
another story). She can be hard at
times to deal with but I wouldn’t change it for anything.
She is a good mother and that is that. Like all good things come they
eventually go as well, life is crazy like that.
I still talk to her and I believe that we are still great friends.
My son and her currently reside in New Jersey and I visit when time
allows me to.
I am currently attending Black Hawk College. I am working towards my associate’s
degree in Web Programming. It is a
lot harder then I thought it would be.
I know I will make it, and I know I will succeed one day.
To go from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and to have been where I have, and
the things I have seen. WOW!!!
I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
I have a lot of years ahead of me and I am looking forward to every
moment of it. The Road is just
starting to be paved and my tank is on full.
