"THE BRAMWELLAIRE"

 MEMORIES FROM 1944

This World War Two medium sized bomber was built from donations of funds by the students of Bramwell High School. They sold over $177,000 in war bonds and stamps and collected "tin cans" for scrap mental in the early 1940s. The plane was named "The Bramwellaire" in honor of the town. The combination name "Bramwellaire" joined Bramwell and Millionaire by which the Bramwell High School students have been known since the pioneer days of the town.
