LADIES 18 HOLE GOLF -Sandy Bunting
APPRECIATING THE OPPORTUNITY
I thank you for your commitment to the SPLGA during my two years as President. The Presidency has been a rewarding and enriching experience. Your friendliness and dedication has enabled us to have an Association that is envied by other Clubs.
Thank you for the President’s gift of a lovely, pink, Annika wind and rain jacket with matching visor from Pinehurst Country Club. I will wear it proudly and remember your generosity forever.
BEAT THE PRO’S TEAM - September 30, 2008
Tim and Rich had a Better Ball of 2 gross score of 74. Six of the ladies teams had a net Better Ball of 2 (85% handicap) lower than the Pro’s Team.
Lady partners beating the Pro’s Team 74 gross score were Sarah Jane Beckwith and Sandy Bunting, Janet Griffith and Blind Partner, Pat Short and Kathy Hudson, Doris DiFilippis and Madelyn Macklin, Marie Willin and Katherine Gordy, and Brenda Lewis and Helen Marrama.
Next year, we will not have the advantage of two-putt temporary greens, so ladies sharpen up your putting skills since Tim and Rich are both great putters.

The SPLGA HONORS ADA MAE WARRINGTON as a HONORARY MEMBER
DEDICATION of the CONCRETE LADY GOLFER to the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE SUSSEX PINES LADY GOLFERS
Ada Mae Warrington presented a three fold aim and purpose in dedicating the statue. First, we remember and honor those who served our Club so well in the past and gave so much of themselves to Sussex Pines. Second, we honor those who currently are working to maintain the quality and integrity of our Club. Finally, we know that this will inspire our future leaders to continue the high standard of our Club.
The dedication of this Lady Golfer Statue is imposing proof of our commitment today and tomorrow and we know it will inspire a continuation of the proud traditions of Sussex Pines.
