Casino Night Has Been Cancelled…
On September 4th, the Gaming Commission advised SPCC that they had made a mistake in giving permission for a gaming permit.
We have stated since April, through all our correspondence, any profit would be used for the refurbishing of our golf course. We were advised that we had been approved.
At the gaming commission meeting yesterday, we were told that because our profits would go to the golf course and not to a charity, we were denied.
The commission did apology, therefore we have no option but to cancel an evening we were all looking forward.
