BANQUET POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Guarantee Schedule
A preliminary count is due two weeks prior to your event and a final count is due three business days prior to your event. You will be billed for that count. Please note prices quoted may be subject to increase pursuant to market conditions.
Deposit Schedule
All banquets will require a $500.00 deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.
Guest Responsibility
The individual or organization scheduling an event agrees to assume full responsibility for the conduct of all guests, assumes liability for charges incurred by its guest and/or damages caused by said guest. Taping or posting any materials is strictly prohibited. On the day of the event, any alterations to detail sheets are subject to additional charges.
It is the responsibility of the person in charge to insure that no one under the age of 21 drinks alcoholic beverages. Bartenders have the right to card anyone who they suspect to be under age. It is further understood that an affair may be terminated if anyone under the age of 21 is found with alcohol.
The employees who serve alcoholic beverages have been instructed to refuse services to anyone who has consumed an excessive amount of alcohol.
Sussex Pines Country Club observes a no smoking policy in the banquet rooms.
The club does not allow food and beverages to be brought onto or taken from the premises unless otherwise arranged with the clubhouse management.
Service Charge
An 18% or 20% service charge is applied to all food and beverage charges.
Payment
Half of the balance of the total charges must be paid when the preliminary count is given. The remainder of the balance is due on the day of the function or on the next business day. Checks and cash are accepted. Only Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted.
Room Rentals
All non-member functions will have a room charge for continental breakfasts, and hors d’ oeuvres parties. These room charges cover the cost of setting up, tearing down, linens, and other expenses incurred for holding your function.

SUSSEX ROOM
Our Sussex Room seats approximately 230 people with the dance floor used for seating. If the dance floor is used for dancing, the room will seat approximately 160. This count will decrease with head tables.
PINE ROOM
Our Pine Room seats approximately 100 people and can be distinguished by it’s stone fireplace.
In the event of larger functions, both rooms could be made available. Please call to inquire on availability.

* Follow Wood Branch road until you cross a set of railroad tracks
* Turn left just after the tracks onto Sussex Pines Road
* We are ¼ mile ahead on the right
* 404 intersects with 18 east at Bridgeville
* Take 18 east to Georgetown
* At 113 in Georgetown, turn right, heading south
* Go through 2 traffic lights (1st - Exxon on right, 2nd- State Police on right)
* A mile beyond the 2nd light you will see Seacoast Speedway on your left
* Turn left onto Woodbranch Road
* Go ½ mile to stop sign. Go straight. Go another ½ mile
* Turn right immediately before the railroad tracks on Sussex Pines Road
* We are ¼ mile ahead on the right
* In Dover, Route 13 intersects with Route 113
* Take Route 113 south to Georgetown
* Go through 3 traffic lights
* A mile beyond 3rd traffic light you will see Seacoast Speedway
* Turn left just before that onto Woodbranch Road
* Go ½ mile to stop sign. Go straight. Go another ½ mile
* Turn right immediately before the railroad tracks on Sussex Pines Road
* We are ¼ mile on the right.
* Turn right after Seacoast Speedway onto Woodbranch Road
