Ladies' 9-Hole Golf--May-June 2009

It was great to get back together for golf with our Opening Scramble on April 21. We were delighted that the weather cooperated and gave us a good golf day. Twenty 20 ladies played golf, and 24 attended the luncheon, which was delicious. Hats off to the cook!!! The turnout was especially surprising since a few of our 33 members were still in Florida. Our scramble winners were: Jenifer Hagy, Anne Buck, Elaine Frey, and Joyce Flora.

We have an exciting year in store, so mark your calendars early with the following dates: June 16, Benefit Scramble with the 18-holers and luncheon afterward; July 7, Ladies and Gents Scramble (everybody welcome, encourage your spouse or another member to come); September 15, 9-Hole Member Guest Fiesta. Please start thinking of whom to bring to the Fiesta.
