Here are some reasons I'm taking a year out of the traditional educational timeline to study for a year at a Bible school.
-To gain a more thorough understanding of and foundation in God's word-
something that will be vitally important to me my whole life no matter what kind of job I have.

-To be taught by the Lord what it means to be a man of God, not a boy of God-
also how to be the man I will need to be for my wife someday.

-Hopefully, to make some great Christian, like-minded, guy friends, with whom I can fellowship and fight the battles of life-
60% of the kids at the school are from either Oregon, Washington, or BC- perhaps a
few of my friends from school will even be at OSU with me next year.

-To travel Europe. Can you blame me?

-Because I've heard people say so many times "I wish I had done something like that."
In the long run, a 1-year delay on college isn't going to mean anything
compared to the life-changing experiences I'll have.
