New pictures in the picture section.

Today I walked half an hour to the store to buy a cheap watch but there wasn't one,
so I bought some chocolate instead (no, Susannah, not Milka). We had a test on
Colossians today. 50 multiple choice questions. It wasn't really a test on the
book itself, but on the topics taken from Colossians that we discussed in class
(we just had a unit on Colossians, as you might have gathered). We also had a
unit on Christian Ethics, looking in-depth at the 10 commandments. I played
football yesterday, it was OK. Yesterday was 9 months for me and Ginny, so we
talked on the phone last night and in the morning, my time (around noon and at
night, for her). Always good to hear her voice.

Our work duties changed, so now I am a server, which means I serve my table at
every meal. It's a good change from dishwasher, which took an hour of free time
after lunch every day. Being a server doesn't really take any extra time. 10
minutes before each meal.

Take care.

Today I have a book report due on the book The Kneeling Christian. I don't
have much longer to work on it. I shaved my beard off today because it sucked.
The weeks seem to go by more and more quickly... it seems like it should be
Tuesday right now, but it's Thursday. Some of the guys here are here for
reasons other than being serious about their walks with God, but it's cool that
there are indeed some who are seeking God and could make good friends.

I'll really try to get some pictures on soon...

I hiked yesterday and it was the death of me.

4/10/05

On Friday I went to Meersburg and took a tour of the oldest castle in Germany. On
Saturday I went on a hike in the Swiss Alps. It was fun. This Saturday I might
go again, but an extra 1000 meters to the very top of the mountain. Next
weekend the school is taking a trip to the castle after which the Disney castle
was modeled. The tour on the inside is optional... it's an extra 10 euros, and
nothing special if you've already seen some castles, so I won't go inside.
There's also something like the Alpine Slide (at skibowl) 5 minutes away which
should be fun.

This morning was the first time it was clear enough to see the Alps from the
school. They're really nice. I took some pictures.

Have a great day.
