Hey. It snowed about an inch here on Tuesday, which stuck around mostly, and then
it snowed another inch or so last night. Just finished playing football, that's
fun in the snow. Dinner shortly. I'm enjoying the cold weather- I've heard it
never snows here this early in the year. I'm learning things, and enjoying my
time here.
Thanks for signing my guestbook and stuff.

The pictures are up and fixed and stuff. I don't know, what do you guys want to
know about my time? I went on 3 different short hikes, one for each day, 2 of
them were with small groups which was much more fun than a big group, there's
just a different dynamic and stuff. We played games at night and we had one
night of the sauna/hot tub being open. Traveling to and from was fun.

The travel weekend was fun and stuff. Went on some good walks/hikes. I'll try to get
some pictures on here soon, they're almost ready. More soon. (Today is 10 months for me and Ginny!...)

Hey, tomorrow at 7:00 I'm leaving here for the hut in Austria. I'll answer the
questions my dad posted on the guestbook:
I don't know how big it is. At least big enough to house 30 people and have a hot
tub and sauna. I don't know how remote it is, somewhat remote I guess, I think
it's at the end of a road, and every direction from there has hiking in the
Alps. There are 20-30 of us students going, along with a couple staff. They
don't have any goals for us that I know of, except to have a good fun weekend
and a break from the work here. I plan to take pictures and then post some of
them sometime next week, so you'll see. I guess it's snowing at 1200 meters
tonight, and the hut is 1000 or so. So we probably won't have snow at the hut,
but it won't be too far away.

Take care,
-Joe

Sorry for the lack of updates.

What's new... this week Mark Thomas is talking about the book of 1st
Corinthians. Last week his brother Chris was here speaking on "the progress of
redemption"- the title doesn't make a lot of sense, but the content was cool.
Tonight we have a test on 1st Corinthians and our book reports are due. We have
this weekend, and then the weekend after that is the travel weekend where I go
to the hut in Austria for 4 days or so.
You can be praying that God would truly make me humble and a servent. I've had
a chance this week to do the duties of another kid who has been on outreach,
which has been cool, to know that my work enabled him to go. I'd like more
opportunities to serve like that.
I'll try to update more frequently now.

Have a good day,
-Joe
