The second series that came out
is DragonballZ which is what is currently on
Cartoon Network. It follows the hero Goku who has
found out that he is a Saiyan from the Planet
Vegeta and he was sent to Earth to take it over.
He bumped his head as a child so he did not
remember his programming. His older brother
Radditz came to Earth in search of Goku and when
he found out he had not completed his task he
ordered Goku to kill 100 humans or he would kill
his son Gohan. Goku met up with Piccalo who was
supposed to be his enemy and they went off to
fight Radditz. Piccalo killed Radditz after Goku
held Radditz and died as a result. Radditz's
scouter which detects power levels also works as
a communicator and the other 2 remaining Saiyans
found out about the Dragonballs from Piccolo when
he told Radditz that they would collect all 7 and
make a wish to bring Goku back to life. Vegeta
and Nappa, the 2 Saiyans decided to come to Earth
to get the Dragonballs and set off in their space
pods. It would take them a year to get to Earth.
During this time the Earth's special forces,
Tien, Yuamcha, Chausou, Krillin and Yagarobi went
to Kami for training. Piccalo took Gohan and
trained him in the wilderness and Goku went to
train with King Kai in the next dimension (Note
if you die you go to the next dimension forever
unless wished back). The Saiyans arrived and all
the fighters met up apart from Goku who rushed
back but got back a day late. Nappa planted some
Saibermen but they all got beaten apart from one
who did a Kamakharzi move on Yuamcha and they
both died. Tien and Chausou died in their
attempts to kill Nappa. That only left Krillin,
Gohan and Piccalo. Piccalo was killed when he
protected Gohan from one of Nappas attacks.
Yagarobi didn't fight. He just watched and talked
to the press. Eventually Goku returned. He beat
up Nappa and Vegeta killed Nappa for
incompetance. Goku then fought Vegeta. It was
close but when Goku did a KO Ken attack he
overpowered Vegeta. Vegeta created a new moon
after Piccalo had destroyed the moon ages ago,
this meant all Saiyans with tails could
transform. Goku had his tail removed a long time
ago. Krillan and Gohan were on their way home as
told to by Goku when they saw this new moon and
rushed back to help Goku. They got back and
helped battle the monkey Vegeta. Yagarobi did his
first brave thing and chopped off Vegeta's tail.
By this time Goku had no strength left. He gave
some power to Krillan to make a spirit bomb which
Krillan threw at Vegeta. Vegeta was sent into the
sky but came back later with still enough energy
to fight. He noticed Gohan's tail had grown back
and was going to cut it off before he transformed
but Yagarobi cut through his armour on his back.
The enraged Vegeta was going to kill him but then
remembered about Gohan. He was too late Gohan had
transformed. Gohan couldn't control himself in
this form until Goku and Krillan managed to talk
to him and convince him to get Vegeta. Vegeta
fought Gohan and made a destructodisc to cut off
Gohan's tail. Gohan fell to the grouind but
Vegeta got crushed. Vegeta used his last strength
to summon him pod and crawl into it. Krillan had
Yagarobi's sword and was gunna finish off Vegeta
but Goku told him to leave him and Vegeta flew
off. Vegeta went back to Frieza's base and
recovered in a special recovery chamber. He
learnt that Frieza was going to Namek in search
of the Namek dragonballs as the Earth one had
disappeared because of Piccalo dying (He and Kami
are the same person so Kami died as well and he
was the creator of the Dragonballs so they
disappear). Vegeta rushed off to Namek in search
of the Dragonballs as well. Bulma, Krillan and
Gohan had also decided to go to Namek to get the
Dragonballs to wish their friends back. They set
off in Kami's spaceship with the help of Mr.
Popo. They arrived on Namek followed by Vegeta.
It turned out that Vegeta, Nappa and Radditz
worked for Freiza taking over planets along with
countless others. After Vegeta was spotted by
Freiza he beat Kui easily and one of Freiza's
henchmen Dodoria was sent to kill Vegeta. Vegeta
killed him after finding out how Frieza destroyed
his home planet. Frieza had recovered 5
dragnballs, Vegeta had one he hid in a lake and
Krillan got one from the eldest Namek. Frieza and
his men had no scouters as they had been
destroyed by a wise Namek so they couldn't find
the Dragonballs anymore. Vegeta was beaten by
Frieza's other henchman Zarbon but he was put in
a recovery chamber so he could tell them where he
hid the Dragonball. He escaped and stole all of
Freiza's Dragonballs. Gohan had found Vegeta's
Dragonball and taken it. Vegeta had stolen
Krillans Dragonball and thought he had all of
them. Zarbon was later killed by Vegeta and he
set off after Krillan and Gohan. Frieza had
ordered his Ginyu Force to get his Dragonballs.
Vegeta \tab senced this and the 3 teamed up. They
got all 7 dragonballs together but then the Ginyu
force arrived. Vegeta killed the first Ginyu
member, Guldo but found it hard against Rikombe.
All 3 fighters were beaten up but Goku arrived to
save the day. Goku beat up Rikombe and all the
other members of Ginyu apart from Jayce and Capt.
Ginyu. Jayce was killed by Vegeta and Ginyu
swapped bodies with Goku and after trying to swap
with Vegeta Goku threw up a frog and he swapped
with that. While Vegeta was sleeping Krillin and
Gohan summoned the Dragon and wished Piccolo back
to the dimension and the second wish they used to
bring him to Namek. Vegeta was outraged but when
he found out there was 1 more wish he told Dende
to ask the Dragon to give him immortality. Just
as his wish was going to be granted, Guru died
and so did the Dragon. Freiza appeared on the
scene and the battle commenced. Goku was still
healing and Vegeta went head to head with Freiza.
Their power was pretty much equal so Vegeta
nagged Frieza into transforming. In this new form
his power was over 1'000'000. He went for Krillin
and stabbed him with his horns. Gohan got
outraged and mashed up Freiza. Freiza got back up
and beat up Gohan. Krillin got healed by Dende's
new powers and so did Gohan. Then Piccolo who had
just fused with Nail came on the scene. He was
incredibly strong and at most of the time seemed
to have the upper hand. That was until Frieza
went into his third stage. He was too much for
Piccolo. Frieza then decided to go to his
ultimate form. Vegeta had the idea of getting
Krillin to almost kill him the get Dende to heal
him. After much persuasion Dende healed him.
Frieza then had completely transformed. He was
too powerful for Vegeta and he beat him up. The
Goku came on the scene. Frieza killed Vegeta and
Goku vowed to destroy him. They started the fight
but nothing much happened until Goku used the
spirt bomb on frieza, it didn't kill him though
and he took his anger out on Piccolo. He shot him
through the chest then killed Krillin. This meant
Goku got mad and became a Super Saiyan. He fought
Frieza and was more powerful than him. Then
Frieza shot a beam down to the core of Namek and
the planet was about to blow in a few minutes.
Meanwhile Mr. Popo had collected all 7 earth
Dragonballs. King Kai told him to wish back all
who were killed by frieza. (It only would only
work for those killed within a year). (This
included Guru who die of a broken heart when his
people died) It then brought back all of those
people except ones who had been brought back
before i.e. Krillin. Then with the Namekian
dragon having one wish left, Dende wished for
everyone on Namek apart from Goku and frieza to
be wished to Earth (Goku decided to stay to
finish his fight). Goku and Frieza continued the
fight and Frieza launched a destructodisc.Goku
finally overwhelms Freeza and is trying to escape
from the planet.
