BACKGROUND:

2001-02:
On 3^rd March Alexander scored a season-high 32 points in a career-high 50 minutes against ORL. 27 times he scored 10 plus points and seven times 10 plus points. On 10^th March he recorded a season-high eight rebounds at BOS. From 3rd March to 20^th March he scored in double figures in 11 straight games. He missed 17 games due to injury.

2000-01
For the month of April Alexander was Named NBA Schick Rookie of the Month since he scored more than 20 points and averaged 22.4 ppg during the month. On 18^th April he led the Wizards in scoring four times and set a career-high with 33 points in the last game of the season against Toronto. He was ranked first among the rookies in free throw percentage (.820), fourth in scoring (9.5 ppg), and ninth in both steals (.69 spg) and minutes (21.3 mpg) and led the Wizards in scoring six times. Since joining the Wizards he posted double-figures in scoring in 22 of 27 games. On 31^st March with the Wizards he averaged 17.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. On 4^th March he shot a career-high 11 free throws against Utah and played in a career-high 47 minutes against Toronto on 18^th April. In his debut as a Wizard he scored 13 points in 23 minutes against Toronto on 24^th February. On 14^th March he made his first start with the Wizards against Detroit.
