The famous Statues.
These are cool...
The Elwood Bar & Grille from Comercia.
Looks brand new...
The Ren-Cen and the DAC.
Nice...
Nice shot of Downtown showing the Cad Hotel, Opera House, Broderick, Whitney, Statler, and so on...
Wait 'til it gets dark, though...
Comparing the sight lines at Comercia to those of Tiger Stadium is like comparing the Olympia to Joe Louis; there is no comparisson. And the atmosphere that one felt at Tiger Stadium just is not here.
The sight lines SUCK
The Statler Hotel, et al.
WHY?
The scoreboard is pretty impressive.
Here kitty, kitty...
The GM fountain.
It turns on when a home run is hit...
The MCS and the Real Tiger Stadium fade into the sunset...
I almost shed a tear...
The almost fully restored Brewster Projects.
They fixed these up nice...
As the sun sets once more on Old Glory and Downtown Detroit.
...let's all sing the National Anthem...
The Ferris Wheel in center field with the Brewster Projects in the background.
Put the kids on there if they're bored...
I felt like I was somewhere else other than the ballgame. Compare this to Tiger Stadium...
Pass the binoculars...is that Kid Rock sitting there?
Whitney, Book Tower, Statler, etc.
Fix 'em up NOW!!
Another shot of the scoreboard.
Is it possible, Tigers lead 9-1?
The David Stott in the center.
Fix the damn Broderick NOW!!
The Fyfe, The Mutual, Kales, Palms, et al.
Fyfe Shoes is older than dirt...
The Fox and Hockeytown...
The Illich Empire...
I felt like a farmer who was outstanding in his own field...
...are those ants or baseball players?
One grand finale shot of Downtown.
...then the f__king battery went dead...
A scan of the ticket stub. Whatever happened to $1.00 bleacher seats at Tiger Stadium?
...$8.00 bucks for bleachers?
