Sadly, we lost our dear friend and supporter, Dr. Sandi Reynolds,
on Friday, May 19. Sandi volun-teered her time, services, talent and support
to DHS for more than fifteen years - helping animals in a myriad of ways
and making DHS a better organization. She served as a past President and
current Board Member of DHS. She implemented our Pledge Pal Program and was
a current Pledge Pal. She established, maintained and donated to DHS
our website - giving our rescued animals’ pictures and stories to a wider
audience. She participated in every fund-raiser. She opened her heart and
home to countless cats and kittens - fostering them until she found them loving,
forever homes. Who knows how may kittens she bottle fed over the years?
Our sympathy and thoughts are with her family as we share in their loss,
and miss her deeply. She was a great woman and a humane individual. However
in our sorrow, there must be a joyous celebration at the Rainbow Bridge
as she reunites with the many animals she loved, cared for and respected
throughout her life. Please join us in celebrating her life and honoring
her memory as we continue her work to help the many animals in need.
