Pledge letter

Just like the novel by Louisa May Alcott, these four Little Kitten Women - Meg, Jo, Beth, Amy and their mama Marmee were having a difficult time before a Denton Humane Society volunteer stepped up. All five were dumped at an area shelter and were scheduled for euthanization when one of our wonderful foster moms agreed to take them in.

Arriving at their foster home, they were treated for fleas and dewormed. Then all of the family came down with an upper respiratory infection--sneezing, congestion and watery eyes. After a visit to the vet and lots of medications, they now are well on the road to becoming healthy kitties.

Mama cat Marmee is solid gray and very sweet and friendly. She loves to be petted and allows you to carry her around like a baby. Her four daughters are black with white markings and extremely playful and cuddly. Marmee has done a great job of taking care of her girls.

All four girls and Mama Marmee will soon be spayed and vaccinated and will be ready to look for a loving family of their own. Thank you Pledge Pals for your continued generosity that allows these precious Little Kitten Women a second chance.
