Type of Fan Fiction: Drama (with a little humor here and there); Law&Order/X-Files Crossover

Why Write This?: I used to think I was the only one out there who had come up with the idea to do a crossover of these two shows. Stuff You May Need To Know: Law&Order is a T.V. drama based on real criminal cases and those who get the bad guys. The characters from Law&Order you'll be meeting in this little story are: Excutive Assistant District Attorney for New York County, Jack McCoy; Assistant District Attorney, Abbie Carmichael (Jack's partner); District Attorney, Adam Schiff (Jack and Abbie's boss) (Yes, I know he's gone, but this story is being written in the world of he never left.); New York City Police Detective, Mike Logan (works at the 27th precinct) (Once more, I know Mike is gone also, but he was my favorite Lennie partner so he's here. Again, in the world that he never left.); Det. Lennie Briscoe (Mike's partner); and the 27th precinct's Lieutenant Anita Van Buren (Lennie and Mike's boss).
The X-Files is a sci-fi drama based on actual unexplained cases having to do with U.F.O.s, aliens, curses, monsters, and pretty much anything else that you could think of that is scary. It follows the lives of two F.B.I. agents, Special Agent Fox Mulder and Special Agent Dana Scully. Their boss is Assisant Director Walter Skinner. These are the three X-Files characters you will be meeting in this fanfic. Mulder believes in unexplained stuff while his partner, Scully, believes that the unexplained can be explained- you just have to know where to look for the explainations. Skinner wants to believe in Mulder and therefore allows the two agents to investigate the X-Files and do pretty much what they want relating to the cases. Mulder is an Oxford educated psychologist and Scully is docter and forensic pathologist
Okay, that's pretty much everything you need to know about Law&Order and The X-Files in case you've never watched one or maybe even both of those shows. I highly recommend you watch them if you never have. You can catch the re-news of Law&Order on the A&E network Monday-Friday at 7pm and 11pm. You can also see re-runs on A&E Sundays at 7pm. You can see new episodes Wednesdays on NBC at 10pm. You don't need to see the first episodes to understand it like you need to pretty much for The X-Files to get it. Just jump on in and start watching! The X-Files is a little harder to get into. You need to watch a few episodes before you really start to understand it. Well worth your trouble though. You can catch re-runs of The X-Files on the FX Network Monday-Friday at 6pm and 12am. You can also see re-runs on the FOX network most Saturdays at 5pm and most Sundays (going into early Monday morning) at 12am. You can see new episodes on the FOX network Sundays at 9pm.
