My name is Sherry, and I am the wife and mother of this family. The first thing that I would like you to know, is that I am a Christian. God has been SO good to me. He blessed me to be brought up in a great and loving christian home.
My Mom and Dad, Joe and Nancy Vagott, are the best. They are wonderful, supportive people. They have helped me through a lot of hard times. My dad is a deacon in the church and my mom is the choir director. My dad is one of the funniest, most tender hearted men you'd ever want to meet. My mom taught all of us kids how to sing. If you ever need someone to help you with music, just get in touch with mom.
I have an older brother, Joe Vagott, whom has always been my hero. He keeps me laughing! He is so talented. He sings beautifully, he draws and paints, he does karate. There is no end to his talent. I also have an older sister, (yes, Vicki, OLDER) Vicki Lamey. She is also very talented. I always wished I could be as beautiful and talented as she is. She sings, plays the piano, draws, and she is VERY smart.
God also blessed me with a fantastic husband, Mark. I thank God every day for sending Mark into my life. Mark is a preacher, and he has totally turned my world upside down. ( In a good way ) Believe it or not, he has, in the past, been a professional wrestler and a stand up comic. Life with him is very interesting, to say the least. God has placed us in a great church with wonderful people.
I have 3 beautiful, talented children. Jeremy (18) is getting ready to leave home. (sob) He would like to be a professional gospel singer. He likes girls, basketball, girls, singing, girls, being with his friends, and did I mention GIRLS?? Deidre (16) loves to sing, also. She likes shopping, boys, singing, boys, talking on the phone, and did I mention BOYS?? Amanda (15) also loves to sing. She likes singing, boys, shopping, boys, talking on the phone, and -- YES, you guessed it --- BOYS!!!
Now, a little about what I'm like. The things that interest me are: Spending time with my family, singing, reading, laughing, taking pictures (This is a self-portrait!), and chatting on-line. I've made so many new friends on the internet. You know who you are. (:-)I sing, play the piano, I am the assistant youth counselor at church, and part of an organization that goes "clowning" at nursing homes and schools. So, you see, God has truly blessed my life.
