Think straight,
Do you really believe that there could be democracy in the Middle East?
Do you really believe, that sending all our boys to their certain death is going to stop the Muslims from Hating the Jews? Come on now? Give me a break.
Iraq will breed many many more monsters to come.
Believe me this won't be the last Dictator the world will see.
Where there is power and wealth, there
will be domination.
I lived through the Iran/Iraq war when the
USA was backing Saddam, I was in Iran.
I remember hiding in safe places with my baby son, while window panes came crashing down, and homes around us were
being rocked. I remember losing friends and acquaintances to Saddam's
airforce, bombing the life out of us, with their F-14s, sold to them by the USA
I remember my sister Caroline, nearly dying, after
being thrown to the ground on the street, by flying shrapnel
She still has the scars of the shrapnel that was embedded in her
body.
All because the US Govt. thought that through
Saddam, they could destroy the new Islamic Fundamentalist regime, headed by the radical Ayatollah Khomenie of Iran. I hated the new Islamic
Fundamentalist regime, and although I made more money, than I could ever
make again, I got the hell out of there.
One thing for sure, I was not ready, to
sacrifice my life and that of my family's,
to agree with Iraq with the help of the US coming in to liberate us living in Iran.
The Islamic Fundamentalist regime still
rules in Iran, and in my opinion, the they will only be over thrown by their own
people when and if the time ever comes.
Recently I have been trying not to watch too much TV. It's reminecent of
the time in my life I much rather forget. War is a horrible way to sort out a dispute, fighting for peace, does not make sense, it's like screwing for virginity.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of what is going to happen if, the Iraqi people, under oppression or not, declared
that, they seriously Did Not want to be 'Liberated'?
Would this war still be called 'Operation Iraqi Freedom'? Or is it now called something else.
I really don't have any answers but I sure do have
a conscience and a lot of bad memories.
'Thou shalt not kill', seems kind of right to
me.
Once again be safe, don't lose your wig, be
grateful you have a head to put it on,
