The A-Team
An Unexpected Plot Twist by
Sidewinder
Slash. This is really a
touching first time story. Sidewinder has done an excellent job capturing Face and
Murdock’s emotions and hesitations of taking that last, most serious step. Nicely
done and very well written. 56k

Boston Confidential by LauraSlash. Egads, I feel like a moron for actually putting a DC
story up here, as it’s an admission that I do actually watch the show from time to time.
Confession aside, I think I’d still be recommending this story, as it’s one of the best
first times I’ve ever read in any fandom. Time and circumstance make for a beautiful
and very realistic experiment between Pacey and Jack. 47k

of Christmas Present and Desperate Vigil
by Cathy Slash. I’ve always wondered why there wasn’t more (or
better, from what little I’ve seen) slash in this fandom. Then I stumbled onto these
wonderful gems. Working in the context of the episode, Cathy creates the type of
realistic, breathtaking stories that really push all my fanfic buttons. John Carter/Luka

With Me by The Ragged Rose Slash. Horatio and Edrington bond
together over a little tart . Short, hot, and a good example of a perfect PWP
story. 52K

deftly handled series that chronicles the burgeoning relationship between Archie and
Horatio. But are they strong enough to face the danger that lurks over them in the
later stories? Due to the frame format of this page, it is not possible to link past
the front page. Simply follow the link to the story archive and then scroll down to
find Calypso’s name.
Links Fixed! The Education Series by Charley Hart Slash. I usually don’t go for the ‘slash everybody’ kind of stories, but these are just too hot to pass up. If I might suggest a
name for this series, how ‘bout ‘The Sexual Miseducation of Horatio Hornblower’.

Figureheads
by Victoria Bitter Non-graphic Slash. Ohh! I swoon! What a beautiful story -- even if you’re not a Hornblower fan (and if you’re not, what’s wrong with you? Have you *seen* Jamie Bamber and Ioan Griffudd???) Following their
release from prison, Archie and Horatio have a long overdue conversation. The true genius of this story is the way Victoria puts into words the simple-yet-so-complex relationship between these two characters that we see on the screen. Do not miss this one.
Confessions
by Krystine Slash. While visiting Horatio’s father, a horrible accident
leads Hornblower Sr. to learn the true nature of his son’s relationship with Archie.
This is a well-plotted story with a cameo appearance by Major Edrington.
Recalled to Life and Into the Game by Pam and Del Gen.I hated what happened to Archie Kennedy in the Hornblower movies. Perhaps that is why I'm so taken with the premise of this burgeoning series from Pam and Del. Rescued from his own 'death' by parties unknown, Archie is about to find out that nothing comes without a price. With a new identity and a new profession, he sets out to pay his debt by once again serving his country -- only not in His Majasty's Navy this time. 70K so far.

by Mona Ramsey Slash. Mona has delivered a nice, well-written
post-movie story. Ed Exley gets a surprise visit from an old friend on Christmas Eve.

Broken Link! Walls by White
Knight Adult. Set after one of
my all-time favourite eps (where Michael has amnesia), this beautifully crafted story
truly captures both the angst and love Michael and Nikita share.
Tension
Relief by
LianneSlash. Michael and Birkoff? Oh, stop cringing! Lianne is a truly
talented writer and she not only makes the relationship realistic, she writes fantastic sex
scenes. The series begins when Madeline orders Michael to help an extremely tense
Birkoff to relax. Sequels abound.
Gemini Part I and Part II by xof
Slash. Oh my. It’s been a long time since I found some good Nikita slash, so
many thanks to Raonaid for pointing out this gem, and even more thanks to xof for
writing it! An assignment is the basis for
Birkoff’s introduction into the D/s world. Fortunately, Michael does an amazing job
of teaching Birkoff. Tender and steamy in all the right places! There is a part 2 of
this story that can be reached through
the opening page 186k

Miami Vice
A Portrait in Water Colours
by Elfin Slash. Set after the (disastrous) end of the series, ‘Portrait’ is a
wonderful, slashy ‘fix-it’ to the legions of us left unsatisfied by the canon storyline.
When their airport goodbye is disrupted by a shared bullet, Crockett and Tubbs realize
that they can’t just leave the job behind them. Back with Miami Vice, a new
assignment takes their partnership in an entirely new direction. 400k
Broken Link! Wicked
Games by Flamingo Slash. Crockett and Tubbs get assigned a case
that threatens to pull up nasty stuff from Sonny’s past. Flamingo does a great job
here, especially the way she portrays Sonny’s inner-struggle to reconcile Crockett and
Burnett. 425k
The Study in Light series by
Jane Hughes Slash. Study in Light is a classic H/C story, and man, does
Jane put Crockett through a world of hurt. The writing is solid, even if the dialogue
gets a little too soft in a few places. Well worth the read, especially for Sonny’s
painfully realistic recovery. 630k This story contains non-consentual sex.

The
Stand Off, Second Chance, and The Final Straw by K9Slash. Vince has always been there waiting in the wings for Stuart to come around, but when Stuart finally sees the writing on the wall, will he be able to convince Vince of his intentions? A nicely plotted and well written series. 33K, 19K, 60K
Heavy Breathing by Deanna Slash. Stuart. Vince. Phone sex. Yowza! There is a sequel, but be forewarned, it's really fluffy. 37K, 35K

Away by Kitty FisherSlash. Patrick Harper takes care of his
Captain in this
exceedingly well-written story. 25k

Links Fixed! My True Love Gave to Me by Sebastyin Slash. A super sweet Christmas tale for my two favourite 70’s detectives. The sex scene is wonderful - what every first
time scene should be.
A
Fine Storm by Suzan Lovett Slash. Susan is not only an incredible
artist, but also a phemonemonal writer, too! For two dectectives, Starsk and Hutch
seem particularly clueless about each others emotions. Based off another story that
chronicled the pair’s first one-night stand, this sequel continues this emotionally
gripping, wonderful piece.

The Velvet Goldmine
If you’ve seen the movie, you’re most likely aware that ‘slashing’ it seems almost
redundant. But, if you’re like me, you were probably left longing to know what
happened next. Did Arthur actually let Curt slip off into the night? Did Curt finally
confront Brian? Here are a few authors’ takes on what might have happened.
Broken Link! The Eye On You Series by Saraid
Slash (C/A). Probably my favourite ‘Curt and Arthur after the bar’ story. Arthur tracks down Curt and the two take tentative steps in a new relationship.
Broken Link! The Reawakening
Series by Max Volume Slash. (C/A, C/A/B) Another Curt/Arthur
relationship story, but one that adds a repentant Brian back into the mix. Nicely
presented, plus I love the part with Curt’s press conference.
Broken Link! Just Sex by Niel
Jameson Slash. (C/B) A steamy little PWP. Curt...Brian...shower.
‘Nuff said.
Broken Link! Taste by Eric Slash. (C/B) This one is a borderline-PWP, and man, does it
sizzle. Brian returns home early from an out-of-town photo shoot, but it’s difficult to
say who is more grateful, Curt or Brian.
