Very interesting to see how the lighting and colors are so instantly recognizable from Almodovar. Looks really nice, visually quite a lot more interesting than I've got the impression of from som viewers..

Yes, I agree, Christian-- the shots look terrific, and the acting is good in these fairly brief clips. It really makes me wonder what some of the negative reviews were going on about.

I have the "Passion" soundtrack, so it was really exciting to hear the clips in the scene. The song playing during the scene when Noomi says "fuck 'em" is called "Perversions and Diversions" sounding like Phil Collins and the theme music of an 80s to 90s court drama.
It was also interesting that the ending words of the teaser trailer for "Passion" ("come closer. now kiss me. I love you") are not uttered by Noomi and Rachel McAdams but Karoline Herfurth. It's the epitome of the theme that drives all of De Palma's work: don't believe everything you see; the tagline for "Body Double." Looking back in retrospect, the pronuncination of "closer" sort of has a German inflection on it, but at the same time a lot of people thought it was an English accent.

Noomi sounds fantastic in all the clips I've seen from her in "Passion" even though a lot of critics said her performance was lacking energy, but she seems to have plenty of energy. Based on the teaser trailer, I would have never guessed that Noomi was so animated in the movie, from the clips I've seen so far.
In the clip at the party, which is clearly the humilation scene before the breakdown, Noomi has this hairstyle that I'm sure I've seen Joan Crawford wear in the 1940s: those bangs! Maybe it was Mildred Pierce; interestingly, a review described Noomi as giving a Joan Crawford-like laugh.
