Penguin began this gig with their funky music getting many members of the crowd up and shaking their groove thang. Their set was riddled with oldies (get some) and newies (XXX) and even a cover of the Beatles Come Together which they pulled off well.
Nausea were next up and began to play. Many members of the crowd were captured by the beat and began to mosh to the powerful music. There were many highlights throughout the set ( TREMOR , VICTIMARY FRAUDS and MISERY )and even a cover of Nirvana which was pulled off quite well. and many were disapointed to see them finish.
Getting to be a local favourite Space is Dead were up and ready to play within about 15 minutes of Nausea's final song. They began the set strongly with older songs ( Gin )and then some new songs that were to be played live for the first time. The moshing had somewhat lessend due to the fact that most people had worn themselves out while moshing to Penguin and Nausea but still people were up for Kill Johnny Kill and Wet Burnt and Hungry. Their new album will be out sometime in the first half of this year.
