Dot and the Kangaroo!

Yes, finally, a page devoted to worshipping one of the best childrens' movies/ books in the world! And to think nobody's never heard of the damn thing!

Folks, I grew up on the movie, "Dot and the Kangaroo". It's brilliant. It's a combination of animation and live action footage. I promise you, no matter what your age, you will fall in love with this movie! Help me bring it back into stores! Show your support and buy it from one of the sources I've found, listed later on this page.

Yes, there are TONS of "Dot" movies out there, although "Dot and the Kangaroo" is by far the best. Some of the movies listed, you'll notice, will have buy it links. Most Dot movies are very hard to find, these are the ones I've found for sale on the net.

Dot and the Kangaroo (1977) 80 minutes Buy it!
Dot, the small daughter of a settler, wanders into the forest and gets lost. She meets a friendly kangaroo who takes her on a fabulous journey.

Around the World with Dot (aka Dot & Santa Claus) (1982) 80 minutes Buy it!
Dot searches the globe for her lost baby kangaroo, and while doing so discovers the meaning of Christmas.

Dot and the Bunny (1984) 78 minutes Buy it!
Dot goes in search of a missing baby kangaroo named Joey. On her travels, Dot meets an unusual rabbit named Funnybunny

Dot and the Koala (1985) 67 minutes
Dot is teamed with the exotic creatures of the Australian bush in a brave effort to stop 21st century technology from taking over their homeland.

Dot and Keeto (1985) 74 minutes
Shrunk to a bug's size, Dot is befriended by a mosquito as the two explore the insect world.

Dot and the Whale (1986) 70 minutes
Dot finds a beached whale with no will to live. Dot's search for a way to save her friend brings her dangers on land, then plunges her into deep sea adventures.

Dot and the Smugglers (aka Dot & the Bunyip) (1986) 75 minutes
The circus is coming to town, but it's really a front for a wildlife smuggling operation. Dot and her animal friends from the Australian forest are going to put a stop to this.
