(In line at the Hulk)

"I don't know if this is such a good idea, after all," Linzi told her best friend, Chasity, as they moved closer to the front of the line. They had been waiting in line to ride the Hulk for almost an hour now. Since this was their first trip to Universal Studios, they vowed to get the most out of their vacation. And that meant riding EVERY ride- even the scary ones.

"C'mon, Linz,don't chicken out of me now," Chasity begged. "We're almost to the front of the line.....And besides, it's gonna be great! I promise," she added as an afterthought.

Although the two friends had grown up together, they were comple opposites. Chasity, who was younger by two years, was the wild, spontaneous one. Her outgoing personality and angelic face helped her to get away with almost anything and everything. With her sun-bleached blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, and fantastic figure, she looked like the typical "beauty queen." She was also very opinionated and intelligent. One of her favorite past-times was debating.

Linzi, on the other hand, was much quieter. She had the role of the responsible one and was fiercely protective of Chasity. She hated any kind of conflict and was always playing the peacemaker. Unlike Chasity, who was of average height, Linzi was petite, only 5'1." You could see her Irish descent through her ivory skin, dark brown hair, and green eyes. While Chasity was clearly the risk-taker, Linzi liked things to be organized and well thought out.

"I don't know Chas," Linzi said hesitantly. "It looks kinda scary."

You have to ride with me......Pleeeze," Chasity begged.

"Maybe......"

(further down the line)

"Dude, I don't know about this," Chris told his friends as they walked towards the front of the line. "I might get hurt or something."

"Man, you are such a wimp," Justin Timberlake teased his friend, good-naturedly.

"Yeah, well I don't know why we couldn't just wait at the end of the line like normal people. We shouldn't be able to get in front of everyone else just because we're famous."

"Chris!"JC Chasez exclaimed, laughing. "Just last night you were using your famous status to get tickets to that sold out No Doubt concert."

"Yeah," Joey added. "You're just trying to get out of riding this rollercoaster."

"Lance isn't going on the Hulk and you're not being mean to him,"Chris pouted.

"That's because Lance has something important to do," Justin explained. He was just about to ask JC something when he noticed that his friend was staring intently at something....or someone. Justin followed JC's gaze and saw these two girls talking animatedly. They were both very attractive, but JC seemed to be taken with the petite brunette. Justin suddenly got a brilliant idea.

"Hey, guys,"he said slyly. "See those two girls over there? Let's get them to ride with us."

"Why?" Chris asked, confused.

Justin nodded towards JC, who hadn't heard a word they'd said, and winked. "Because, if we get scared we can just hold one of their hands. I think JC's already claimed the brunette, though," he said laughing.

"What?"JC asked, finally coming out of his daze.

"Nothing," Justin replied smiling. "C'mon, we've got a rollercoaster to ride."

"Linz,c'mon," Chasity begged. "You know you wanna ride this. Remember? We're gonna go on EVERY ride."

"Well......"

"Excuse me, ladies," someone said, saving Linzi from having to answer. The two girls turned around and saw these four adorable looking guys. Linzi's eyes were glued to the handsome blue-eyed, brown haired guy while Chasity was checking out the curly blond.

"Yes?" Chasity asked, automatically going into flirt mode.

"Well," Justin, the curly blond, said. "We have a little problem. We want to ride the Hulk but SOME people," he said looking at Chris, "are afraid. We were hoping that you'd ride it with us, and then if we got scared we could hold your hand," he added with a shy smile.

"That's a great idea!" Chasity exclaimed, never one to miss an opportunity with cute guys. "Linzi was going to chicken out on me, but now she won't....will you?"

"No, I guess not," Linzi replied, blushing.

"Great!" Chasity said, enthusiastically. "By the way, I'm Chasity and this is Linzi," she said, pointing to her friend.

"Hi, Chasity and Linzi. I'm Justin and this is JC, Joey, and Chris," he introduced.

"Actually...," Chasity said slowly, "I already knew that. We're fans.....but not the obsessed kind," she added with a smile. She couldn't help but notice how Linzi and JC couldn't keep their eyes off of each other. Justin noticed too and he and Chasity shared a secretive smile. Their two friends were falling hard for each other....And they hadn't even spoken yet!
