(8 months later)

"Hey, Linz...." Chasity called as she surveyed the contents of their refrigerator. "Our food supply is running pretty low so I'm gonna go ahead and pick up some stuff at the grocery. Do you need anything?"

"Umm....not that I can think of......Oh, wait! I need some more toothpaste." Linzi answered.

"Okay, I'll pick some up for you....See ya later." Chasity said as she grabbed her purse and left. This domestic stuff kinda grows on you, she thought to herself. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and here she was going grocery shopping. Her lifestlye had definitely changed. A year ago she wouldn't even consider spending a beautiful afternoon shopping for food........clothes maybe, but not food.

I wonder if we have any mail, she thought as she walked towards the lobby. She quickly made her way to her and Linzi's mailbox and, sure enough, there was a letter for them. As she identified the familiar handwriting, she groaned to herself. Please don't tell me they've been delayed again.

Justin and the rest of the guys were supposed to have returned to the U.S. two months ago, but then their plans changed at the last minute. Poor Linzi had been devastated. She was really looking forward to seeing JC again. And, even though she was reluctant to admit it, Chasity really wanted to see Justin. They e-mailed each other almost every day and talked on the phone at least once a month. They had gone back to their friendly bantering and there were no more talks of, or about, love. Now, as she gazed at the familiar handwriting, she found herself missing Justin even more. She quickly dashed back up the stairs, her trip to the grocery forgotten, and slung open the apartment door.

"Back already?" Linzi asked, astonished. "That was quick!"

"Well, actually, I haven't gone yet." Chasity said as she walked to the living room and wearily sat down on the sofa, right beside Linzi. "We got a letter today.........from the guys," Chasity explained as she handed the unopened envelope to Linzi. "You can open it and just tell me what it says."

"Okay," Linzi agreed, trying to keep her voice steady. Please don't say they've been delayed again! She quickly scanned the contents of the letter, before reading it aloud to Chasity, and her eyes lighted up with excitement. "They're coming back!" she exclaimed as she threw her arms around Chasity. "They're gonna arrive in New York two days from now and they've sent us airplane tickets so we can be there with them! Our plane leaves Monday!"

Chasity felt breathless and giddy with excitement. In just three days she'd be reunited with Justin......and the rest of the guys, of course. She couldn't wait!

"This calls for a major shopping spree," she told Linzi, her eyes sparkling. "We are going to look so great they'll never want to leave us again!"

"Yeah, well you better not," Chris joked. "We've put a lot of time and effort into our big surprise for the girls. I don't want anyone screwing it up."

"Don't worry," Lance said with a smile. "Not even Joey could screw this up. It's perfect and Linzi and Chasity will love it!.......Of course, I'm not sure how well the fans will take it......."

"This is so cool!" Chasity said smiling radiantly. "My fist trip to New York and the guys will be here to show us the sights! I'm so excited! I just wish the guys would be here to greet us........"

"Yeah, me too.......but at least they'll be here soon!" Linzi replied cheerfully as she and Chasity bounded off the plane. The sight that greeted them left both of them speechless. There, surrounded my millions of balloons and "Welcome" signs, were the guys, grinning broadly. They had totally outdone themselves!

Chasity and Linzi quickly made their way towards the guys, still overwhelmed by the surprise greeting, and the two girls were engulfed in a group hug. Everyone, except for Chasity and Linzi, were oblivious to the flashing lights of the media's camera's. I guess that's just part of being friend's with famous people, Chasity thought to herself with a smile. She was surprised, though. that the guys were allowed to do this. She thought that publicity would want to keep the girls hush-hush. Especially Linzi, since she was dating JC. Of course the fans don't know that. For all they know we could all just be good friends............

"I have an anouncement to make," JC said suddenly, turning to the press. He had his arm around Linzi and he pulled her closer to him. "Ten months ago I met someone very special..........and fell in love with her," JC added, gazing at Linzi. "It was very hard for me to leave her and go overseas, but she made it much easier by being so supportive. Linzi- I love you from the bottom of my heart. And this is for you....." he continued as he started singing......

"I know," Linzi answered, smiling dreamily. "I was so surprised. And I can't believe he announced to everyone that we were dating. I was sure we were gonna have to keep all hush-hush about it."

"I thought you were supposed to keep quiet about it too. I mean, won't the fans get pissed or something?"

"That's what I'm afraid of! But maybe it won't be too bad."

"Oh, don't worry about. The real fans would like NSync with or without girlfriends."

"Yeah, you're right.........I'm still kinda nervous though. What if a teenybopper gets upset and comes after me?"

"Oh, yeah. I can see it now," Chasity teased. "You'll be running down the street with a psycho teenybopper close on your trail. She'll be carrying a knife and screaming 'You can't have him! JC's mine!' while you try vainly to lose her."

"Chasity, you have one overactive imagination," Linzi said with a laugh.

"Yeah, well it comes in handy......Especially when I'm alone with a cute guy. Give me some strawberries and whipcream, maybe a little honey, and I'm all set." Chasity replied, her eyes twinkling in amusement.

"Chasity! You are so bad!" Linzi exclaimed as she threw a pillow at her friend. "And I DON'T want to know about that part of your life."

"I thought we shared everything with each other," Chasity pouted playfully.

"Hey, don't get upset." Justin said as he and the rest of the guys suddenly appeared in the room. "I'll share everything with you."

At the sound of Justin's voice the girls screamed. They hadn't even heard the guys come in. Chasity was so surprised that she fell off the bed, pulling Linzi down with her. The sight of the two girls tangled up on the floor and covered with random articles of clothing made the guys laugh hysterically. They laughed even harder as Linzi and Chasity struggled to get up, but couldn't.

"Here, let me help you," Justin said trying to hide his amused smile. He quickly untangled Chasity from the web of clothes and then picked her up and unceremoniously threw her on the bed.

"Thanks," Chasity replied sarcastically. "But did you have to be so gentle with me? I mean, why not just throw me on the floor? It probably would've felt the same."

"But then I wouldn't have been able to hold you in my arms as long. And you know how tragic that would've been," Justin teased.

"Oh, yeah. Of course. If little Justin doesn't get what he wants then the whole world has to stop- Isn't that right?"

"That's right, baby. I'm king of the world!"

"And to think that Linzi thought I was weird," Chasity said with a laugh. "Now, let's hurry up and go. I have a city to see!" she added impatiently.
