The Hardest Thing

I'm sorry, I know,
I should not act this way.


But thinking of you,
has been part of my day.


We're both quite attached,
and that should make it clear.


Yet still in dreams,
we are both so near.


There seems an attraction,
between you and I.


That makes it quite hard,
to even say bye.


So even if I can't,
have your lips on mine.


The thought of you sweetheart,
will be on my mind.
