" Chronicles I 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. "

I love the Lord not only because He heard my cry, hears my cry, knows my name, my every need, want and desire. I love Him because He is. Just because He is. He is the creator of all things. ALL THINGS. All things from the beginning and before the beginning of time. He is my rock, my fortress, my burdon bearer, my friend, my husband, my father, He's my strength when I'm weary, my hope in times of despair... My God IS my all and all. The Lord is great, mighty and awesome, and I want to encourage you to get to know Him because He will be coming back one day soon and I want you to be ready for His return.

You can find out all you need to know about Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative written Word of God. Really it's a story about Jesus. The story talks about His coming, His arrival and His coming again. The story chronicles His life, talks about His friends, family and enemies. The story is non-fiction but includes sub-stories called parables to clarify or simplify important points.

There is one true God, in three persons Who form the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. These three dwell together in perfect unity.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God became flesh, to walk upon the earth and minister to man and compel all people to serve the Lord God.

Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of Mary while she was engaged to marry Joseph. Jesus walked the earth for over 30 years during which time He received the Spirit of God, was tempted by the Devil and did not submit, was ministered to by Angels, and preached the message that 'the kingdom of heaven is at hand'. Jesus compelled other men to spread the same message, He healed the sick and crippled, taught of the blessings of God, encouraged men to seek righteousness, to love one another (even our enemies), to obey the commandments of God, and be of comfort and encouragement to one another. Jesus also asked us to have a giving spirit, not to desire glory, taught us how to pray and fast, encouraged us to be forgiving, to avoid lust but to seek the kingdom of God, asked God to supply our needs. He told us not to judge any man, but encouraged us to examine ourselves, warned us to beware of false profits by examining them (he that doeth the will of God that is in Heaven loveth the Lord). Jesus warned us to also study the Word of God so that we may live our lives with a solid foundation in Christ. He encouraged us to share our testimonies of how God has blessed us, He reminded us that our faith shall be rewarded, and told us that God would forgive us of our sins. Jesus encouraged us to be strong in our faith so that when we fellowship with the unsaved we are strong in him and can minister to them and tell them of the goodness of God. Jesus commissioned 12 apostles to go forth and preach the message of the Kingdom being at hand and gave them the power to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils. There is much more that Jesus taught us, see for your self in the Holy Bible. I do not mean to imply that the lessons that Jesus brought were in the past. They are illustrated in the past according to the writing of the apostles and other inspired men of God but His teachings live on today, tomorrow and ever more. Jesus was jailed, beaten, tortured, crucified, buried, and then raised from the dead by the power of God and sent us a comforter in the form of the Holy Spirit so that we could have the opportunity to live our lives free from sin. Jesus now sits in Heaven at the right hand of the Father, and is the only intercessor between God and us. The bible tells us He is coming back some day and that no man knows the day or the hour (Matthew 25:13) for He shall come like a thief in the night (Thessalonians I 5:2) It would behoove you to read all of Thessalonians I and II. The reading is an instructional treat. Enjoy!
