Well, the first thing that you are probably wondering about is: Who is that crazy guy, working on such a homepage and doing this type of investigation? To satisfy your curiosity let me give you a quick overview about me.
I'm a 25 years old man coming from a country with one of the most intriguing history and culture in America, the first Black Republic in this continent: The Republic of HAITI, you probably have heard about it, but don't always trust what you hear, it will be better to find out by yourself, you will be very surprised about what you will see, trust me!
I am from Port-au-Prince, the Capital of the country, I grew up in a big family, I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. I went to primary school in the: "Cours Prives: Aurel Exama"in Christ Roi, Port au Prince from 1980-1986, and my secondary studies in the"College Catts Pressoir",(CCP) in the: Ruelle Nazon, á Port-au-Prince, from wich I graduated in 1994.
In the same year I enrolled the: "Conservatoire Nationale des Sciences et Techniques", (C.N.S.T.), in Delmas Port au Prince, to study Civil Ingineering. During my first year of study, I was qualify for a scholarship to study Natural Ressources in the Dominican Republic. In fact now, I am a last year student, of the Instituto Superior de Agricultura ,(ISA), in santiago de Los caballeros, Dominican Republic.
At present, I am working on an interesting investigation concerning: "The land use across the Haitian-Dominican border, using satelite images landsat TM 1996 and 1998", at the same time, the investigation will be consider as my final thesis required by the University to be graduated.
For the New Millenium, if God allows me, my next project is to pursue a Master's Degree in the of "Geographic Information System", (SIG), in the United States the next year.
