The Basics of E-Wrestling
- What is E-Wrestling?
Like D&D, Wizardry, and Final Fantasy, E-Wrestling is basically a fantasy Role Playing Game based on professional wrestling. You have to make up a wrestler, write interviews for him, and have him wrestle matches.
- What is an E-Fed?
An E-Fed is the actual wrestling organization you belong to like the WWF or the WCW. They are usually started by E-Wrestlers that want more of a challenge. They give you the matches and decide the outcomes. They also usually run a home page for the fed.
- Creating a Character
The first thing you have to do is create a character. Your character needs to be realistic and someone you can write intervues for. When you first start
making the wrestler you need to know his physical apearance, wrestling style, if he's a good guy or a bad guy, and what his personality is like.
- Writing Interviews
The most important part of E-Wrestling is writing interviews or Roleplaying. The only limit to what
an interviews can contain is your own imagination. What you put into an interview will depend on your character and who you are facing. The outcome of most matches will be mostly determined by the quality of your interviews.
- Wrestling Matches
You've come up with a great wrestler, you've written killer dialog for him, now it's time for the best part...WRESTLING! The matches are usually decided by the quality of your Roleplays and sometimes your stratagies. Writing the matches is usually done by the head of the E-Fed. Whether you win or lose, it's always fun to see(actually read) your wrestlers in action.
- Writing Stratagies
A Strategy varies from E-Fed to E-Fed but usuall contains what the wrestler will do in a match and if he will interfere in any other matches. Not every E-Fed requires strategies but they are a great way to plan a match.
