OBJECTIVE CHECK means I will check to see if they have a new copy of the objective sheet, for the topic of the week, filled in. This is a graded assignment.
REVIEW AFTER SCHOOL is the day I will meet with anyone interested in reviewing the topic of the week. I will continue to post every Monday the times that I am available for extra help. These times can be used for either review or for the new information we are currently working on.
QUIZ is when there will be a short quiz on the topic we are reviewing that week.
The numbers listed before REVIEW BOOK are the pages in the review book that cover the review topic of the week. The review book is purely OPTIONAL. It has been used by students as an effective tool for preparing for the exam in the past. This year we will use EARTH SCIENCE MODIFIED PROGRAM, published by N & N Publishing Company. Wayne Garnsey and Virginia Page wrote it. The book will is available in the school bookstore for $8.25. We recommend that the students only do the odd numbered questions.
One final method of review I use is to have the kids take as many old exams as time will allow. We will start doing this in May.
