Critical Characterization

Choose a Topic:

What is it that really makes a fanfiction a story?  What moves it along and keeps it interesting?  Why write it at all?  It's all about the characters, of course!  Characters are manipulated in fanfictions to do as we wish, creating a new story unique from that which it was originally from.  We see images in our heads and put them on paper or websites so that others may read what we have imagined.

This unit is entirely about characters because without characters there really is no story.  It's important to take critical notes on characters and develop them thoroughly, whether the character is original or not.
