I hold a B.S. degree in Petroleum Services and an A.S. in Petroleum Safety from Nicholls State University. I graduated number nine in the University in 1994 and number one in my departments for both degrees.
My experience in safety includes Site Safety Supervisor for Baroid Drilling Fluids for five years and the Leader of Baroid’s Eastern Division Safety Team for two years implementing many safety programs directly involving the workers, such as: JSA’s, monthly safety team meetings with a rotating membership, safety inspections, and others.
My experience in management and drilling fluids includes shift supervisor for 8 years and Drilling Fluids Sales Engineer for 2 years for Baroid Drilling Fluids, owner of Collins Tree Service for 2 years, Venice Facility Supervisor for 4 years and Fourchon Plant Engineer at present for Newpark Drilling Fluids.
My interest is to continue my career in the petroleum services field.
