LET'S GET ONE THING STRAIGHT -- SATAN IS NOT WINNING. I DON'T CARE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE OR WHAT YOU'VE HEARD. I'M TELLING YOU, IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS, SATAN IS NOT WINNING. HE HAS NEVER WON. HE WILL NEVER WIN. DON'T LET HIS LIES BECOME YOUR REALITY. CAST DOWN THOSE EVIL IMAGINATIONS BY THE WORD OF GOD. DON'T ABSORB HIS DRAMA, THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE A BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. DON'T LET YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED, NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID. SATAN HAS NO POWER OVER YOU. HOW CAN HE? ALL POWER BELONGS TO GOD!!

MISSION STATEMENT

One-In-The-Spirit's sole mission is to encourage all women to seek a more personal/intimate relationship with Jesus Christ -- their Deliverer, Developer and Director. Through Bible-based teachings, discussions on timely issues and prayer, obstacles are overcome and strongholds broken that have been purposely designed by satan to hinder their walk with God -- thus keeping them from reaching their destiny. As a result, talents are revealed that have been inborn in their spirit for the unique purpose, plan and reward God predesigned for their lives. They achieve "Oneness" in their commitment to Christ and to each other. They can boldly say, “I and my Father are one, John 10:30”

PROFILE

Deaconess Veronica L. Howard, or Rooster as she is affectionately known, is a member of the Greater Revelation Baptist Church; under the leadership of Pastor Elijah Marshall. She is a member of the singing group - the Spiritualettes, Lead Servant of the Singles' Ministry, now known as "One in the Spirit" and a mentor to young people. Deaconess Howard has been a member of Greater Revelation Baptist Church for over 20 years, since receiving Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

She is a native Washingtonian; one of 10 children, graduated from Dunbar High School and received her B.A. from Trinity College in Criminology/Social Work. Deaconess Howard is married to Deacon Lester L. Howard and is the mother of one daughter, Rachael LeAnne.


Deaconess Howard is steadfast in her mission to serve the Lord. She knows her purpose is to encourage and inspire others to have their own personal relationship with Him which will lead them to know what Plan, Purpose and Reward God has for them. She is an active member of the women's ministry of the Greater Revelation Baptist Church and a frequent speaker at our women's retreat.
