About: OCTARS stands for Orange County Teenage Republicans. Aptly named I think, since we live in Orange County, are between the ages 13-19, and of course, we are REPUBLICAN! at does it mean to be a republican? Republicans are people who believe in equal rights, free enterprise, the potential of the individual, and they believe that government must be kept close to the people.We also believe that America must retain the principals our nation was founded on to remain strong. In America, TARS believe the youth are important, and we want to provide a place for teenagers like us to voice our opinions and get involved in the political community. Besides politics, we are involved in many other things, including social and community service events.
