Welcome to Langold, a small village on the outskirts of Worksop Nottinghamshire. Langold is Home to a revered landmark in Nottinghamshire, Langold Lake, as well as being part of Sherwood Forest with the picturesque Dyscarr Woods.

The village is home to many businesses including 5 pubs, 5 take away food shops many family run businesses as well as a doctors surgery and a dentist. These services can be explored in more depth in the shops and business area of the website.

There are many places for children to play including both the adventure park and the lake park both with excellent facilities including swings, slides, roundabouts a sandpit and see-saws.

The Village hall situated on Markham Road is home to many varied activities such as Bingo, Line Dancing community schooling for adults and is available for hire for any functions desired with its own draught bar and catering facilities.

This site is aiming to inform you all about this quaint little village set on the border between Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. Sitting between two farms Langold actually presides on the top of a peak, either side of the village stoops down quite sharply which is a benefit if ever the Lake was to burst its banks.

To the left you will see a site navigation, please choose which part of Langold I attempt to inform you of, please sign the guestbook and leave some feedback for me to take in and possibly consider any improvements and other features you may suggest.
