Summer goes so fast, doesn't it? Looking back, a terrifying beginning became a summer of wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for both rural life and this beautiful city. I will miss the construction workers, finding our way around based on distance to the Washingon Monument, Orioles games, crazy Republicans, psycho Democrats, Crossfire, the Metro, the fireworks, JJ and Alyson, Tim, Zach, Corey, Katie, and my generous and wonderful boyfriend Albert, Barbara Boxer and Lindsey Graham, the Oval Office, Mike Reagan, big Phil, Bob and Libby Dole, J-Po, and the capstone - Peddleboats at the Tidal Basin.
