What is it that drives a person to succeed? What is it about human nature that makes one want to be number one? Where does competitive attitude end and insanity begin? No one really knows. However...

[11:56pm Tuesday]

Kiva arrives at her hotel room in a short black dress and knee-high boots. Around her neck is a black leather collar with metal spikes. On her wrists are black and white jelly braclets. She unlocks her door and immediately begins to undress. She takes off the collar, dress and boots and replaces the dress with a pair of blue boxers and a black tank top. She goes into the bathroom and washes her face. She ties her hair back and lays down on the bed. Suddenly, she notices the light on her cell phone is blinking. She picks it up and opens it. The display reads 2 new text messages. She opens the first one. "Hey Kiva. You'll never guess! Sam asked me to marry him! I said YES!" Kiva smiles to herself, happy for her sister Kimiko. She replys to the message and checks the next one. It is the card for Monday. She sighs in disapointment that she is not on the card.

Kiva: Oh well. I guess I will just have to MAKE myself be in the show. Hmmm who to bother, who to bother? It actually comes down to four men. Justin Daniels, "Radical" Rick Diamond, John Walker or Chino. Oh I dont know. I mean Justin is prime choice. He is charasmatic and strong and quick. A true fighter. However...Chino is well...Chino. And the other two...well they just deserve to be picked on. I dont know. I will decide tomorrow...maybe. Im just...tired.

Kiva closes her phone and stretches back on her bed. She turns off the lights and closes her eyes.

[08:32am]

The phone on the nightstand begins to ring and startles Kiva out of her sleep. She rolls over and off the bed. She finally answers the phone.

Kiva: Hello? Wake up call? Did I? Oh Ok well thank you.

She hangs up the phone and settles down on the edge of the bed. She pulls her suitcase near her and hoists it up on the bed. She pulls out a pair of black sports pants and a blue work out top. She stands and heads to the bathroom. The shower can be heard and moments later she emerges in a towel, hair dripping wet. She removes the towel and wraps her hair in it before getting dressed. Once dressed she quickly towel-dries her hair and pulls it back into a ponytail. She checks her cell for any new messages and sees none. She gets up, grabs her keys and leaves. Outside she begins jogging. After about twenty minutes she stops at a small resturant and orders what they call a fruit flake...a strawberry and banana filled flakey pastry and a small glass of orange juice. She scarfs it down and begins running again. On her way she spots a familiar face.

Kiva: Tony! Yo Tony! Get over here!

The man looks up and sighs.

Tony: Damn. I was hoping she would be somewhere else by now.

Tony begins walking toward the striking woman called Kiva.

Kiva: Tony, you need to meet me at my hotel room at noon. And bring a video camera. I have some things on my mind that I wish to address.

Tony: But Kiva...I had plans with my wife.

Kiva: Cancel them. You WILL be there or I will come looking for you. Got it?

Tony: Fine. Let me go to the office and see about renting out a camera.

Kiva: Good lil doggy. You just remember who the master is here.

Tony turns away muttering to himself.

Tony: Damn bitch. She just arrives here and already she has her own slave. Why am I so afraid of her? Shes nothing more than a woman...

Kiva: I HEARD THAT!

She continues her morning jog and heads back to the hotel. There she takes another shower and this time dresses in a pair of black and green raver pants with chains and snaps all over the place. She puts on a black tee shirt and a black and green straight jacket style jacket. She dries her red and white streaked hair and pulls out her make up. She puts dark red lipstick on and red and white eyeshadow on. She grins as there is a knock on the door. The clock reads 12:01. She throws the door open and pulls Tony in.

Kiva: where the hell have you been? You're late! Its after twelve. Hurry up and set that fucking camera up. I have some stuff on my mind that I need to address. So lets go. Hurry up!

Tony fumbles with the equipment as Kiva harasses him to hurry. Finally he gets the equipment set up and hoists the camera on his shoulder. He points to Kiva to let her know she may begin when she is ready. She settles down on the bed and closes her eyes. She remains so still that one would think she had fallen asleep. Finally, eyes still closed, she speaks.

Kiva: I have been carefully watching the comings and going of the DMX stars for the past few weeks. Why is it that some think silence is the deadliest weapon? Oh how wrong these people are. I am talking about three men actually. Two have been so silent its almost as if they are not around. "Radical" Rick Diamond and John Walker. You two make me sick. You join DMX, show up at a few shows and arent seen all week. Do you think you scare anyone with your silence? You dont. You two are just pathetic. And Chino. This man...where has he been? He gets defeated and is not heard from. These three men make me sick. Silence is not a weapon, its a weekness. Justin Daniels, I feel for you. You have to face a man who is too afraid to take you on. A man who thinks just because he was the first DMX Eurocontinental Champ that he can be quiet, show when he feels and not be seen until his next match. Just because you have no accomplishments he underestimates you. Again I feel sorry for you. You deserve a true opponent. Someone who will give you a run for your money. Someone who will let you know they are watching your every move, listening to your every word. And Chino. You sicken me. You of all people should be training hard and working to better yourself. You have 1 win and 2 losses. Why would you allow anyone to defeat you? You have nothing. Your drive to win is pathetic and you deserve to be destroyed. Boys, I may not be listed at the next Monday Mayhem, but rest assured I will be there and I will be watching. Should you be scared? No. Should you be worried? No. Should you watch your back? YES. I am like a machine. i do not stop until my targets have been taken out. And you two...you are my targets for now. Taking out either of you will make my name known. Remember this face, remember my name for both will be the last you see and hear.

Kiva finally opens her eyes. She smiles sweetly and begins again.

Kiva: Honestly, what are you people thinking? I am sure many of you watyching this are going to think. But shes just a girl. She cant do anything. Why should any of us take her seriously? Oh the answer is quite simple my friends. I have the killer instinct. I have the drive to succeed. I may be new here but I am in no way going anywhere. I am here to stay and there is nothing anyone can say or do to make me leave. Kiva is here and you will just have to deal with it. Love me or hate me, its your decision. Trust me or distrust me...it doesnt matter I will betray you either way. Fear me or envy me. Again it doesnt matter because quite simply you know I am better than you. I am the person you WANT to be, but you know you can't. No matter how hard you try you just cant. I am the person you want to beat but you know you just cant. No matter how hard you try, you just cannot beat me. No one can.

Kiva drops the sweet smile and stands up. She shoves Tony and yells at him to leave. He does so and Kiva picks up her cell phone. She pulls up the text the DMX sent her with the card on it and smiles.

Kiva: Watch out boys...Kiva is here to win.....
