When we last left the Manhattan Mauler, he was attempting to get over his first loss in his first match in GWA. Realizing that he was out of shape and his commitment to get back to champion form, Jakk decided he would start working out again. After his first loss, Jakk was left sore and tired, and he found himself gazing at the ceiling of his hotel, wondering, thinking, letting his mind go.

As his eyes faded to darkness, and he slipped into his slumber, Jakk couldn't help but think of his past, and how it used to be.

Dream Announcer: Jakk Manhattan making his first appearance tonight after being crowned heavyweight champion here in RDWF. This is incredible, I've never seen a wrestler with so much explosion, so much tenacity, so much will to win.

Dream Announcer 2: And I have to agree with you there, this kid is 6 feet 4 inches and 243 pounds of muscle. He basically runs through his opponents. I just don't know who is gonna stop this kid.

Dream Announcer: I dont either, but tonight one guy is gonna give it a shot, Sub Zero, one of the owner's paid henchman. This guy is tough, but I don't think Manhattan is gonna have any problem dispatching this guy.

Dream Announcer 2: I'd have to agree with you again there, Sub Zero is a very technical wrestler, but what he lacks is heart. Sub Zero is a paid henchman. He does his job for money, Jakk does his work for the fans.

Dream Announcer: It's like the fans are his fuel tank, as long as they have faith in this kid, he's going. The louder the cheers, the harder he hits somebody.

Dream Announcer 2: Well let's get to the show because Sub Zero has already made his way to the ring. Ladies and gentleman, Jakk Manhattan.

The crowd erupts, as if the arena had come crashing down. Jakk Manhattan makes his way to the ramp, title belt draped around his waist. He stands at the platform. He signals to the fans. He stops for a second, then runs down to the ring where Sub Zero is waiting.

Dream Announcer: Jakk isn't wasting any time, he's ready to fight.

Jakk tosses his belt to the side of the ring and slides under the ropes. Sub Zero tries to catch him off guard but he is ready for it. Jakk blocks a kick, then a punch, and spears the henchman to the ground. He stands up and his arms explode into the air. The fans are on their feet.

Dream Announcer 2: Man, this kid is crazy. He just seems too unbeatable. I love it.

Dream Announcer: I'd hate to be in the ring with that guy right now. I love it too though. (chuckle)

Manhattan picks Sub off the ground and whips him to the ropes, on the return he grabs him and rips off his patented Manhattan Spike. The crowd goes nuts with a huge pop.

Dream Announcer 2: Jakk makes the cover, 1.2.3. It's over. Call the morgue, I think this guys had it.

Dream Announcer: And still heavyweight champion, Jakk Manhattan!!!! Oh no, here come the henchman. There is at least a dozen of them, as well as some paid wrestlers in there.

Dream Announcer 2: Jakk fending them off now, where are the Union Jakks!!! Jakk needs some help, they are overwhelming him.

Dream Announcer: Here come the Jakks!!! Gambit leading the pack, the henchman don't see em. Union Jakks take over. They're holding up Jakk Manhattan!! What a moment!

And what a moment it was for the Manhattan Mauler. That day, Jakk could've beaten any wrestler out there. But now a calling, a calling from someone Jakk regretted beating, his master, Bruce Draagoon.

Bruce Draagoon Jakk Manhattan, a long journey you have traveled.

Jakk Manhattan Master Draagoon, you are alive?

Bruce Draagoon I am only alive in spirit now, young master, you remember that fateful day.

Jakk Manhattan Yes, the worst day of my life. I killed you, and I didn't want that to happen. I hate myself for that.

Bruce Draagoon You didn't kill me, young master Manhattan, I killed me. I was old, almost 300 years old, it was my time.

Jakk Manhattan 300 years old, how is that possible master?

Bruce Draagoon Okay, okay, I was 78, but a pretty good 78 if I may say so.

Jakk Manhattan You always tried to make me feel innocent, but I wasn't master.

Bruce Draagoon You did what I told you to do Jakk Manhattan. I could have killed you with using my eyelids if I wanted to. You needed direction, I gave you that.

Jakk Manhattan So you let me kill you because it was a lesson for me?

Bruce Draagoon You could say that young master.

Jakk Manhattan But your dead now, that is a pretty valuable lesson.

Bruce Draagoon So you should treat it valuably. Don't worry about me, I am in a better place now. You get to where you were Jakk, your golden time. Do what you must, but never allow yourself to be conquered.

Jakk Manhattan I will heed these words master. When will you visit me again.

Bruce Draagoon Probably when you get your ass kicked again and you have a slight concussion, then I will return. Until then, there are others who must learn their lessons. Be strong, young master.

Jakk Manhattan I will master, you can count on me.
