Re-Rates

The HHHL will be basing next seasons ratings based on play in the HHHL so NHL STATS mean nothing. Starting at the end of season 1 you can have players re-rated that you think should have been rated better you must prove your case by comparing them to other players that are better that your player out played. You also must tell me what stats you feel should go up.

Team Cap

Ok in order to run a somwhat fair league we will be having a team cap of 70 mill.

Lines

you must play 4 lines the only time this may change is the playoffs with the allowing of 2 players 2x shifting

Player Position Changes

Ok this is how it works if you want to switch a players position you must check out www.waymoresports.com use the hockey and then player index links if the player is listed as playing the position the move is free. If the player is not listed there will be a 500K charge for the move. Moves in the OFF Season will be free.

Prospects

Contrats you may offer- 4yrs 1 mill, 3 yrs 800k, 2 600k, 1 year 500k
Ratings- 10-69 9-68 8-67 7-66 6-65 etc. Hockeys Future ( based )
Cost- 1st free, 2nd 500k, + 3rd 1 mill, + 4th 1.5 mill, + 5th 2 mill, + 6th 2.5 mill, + 7th 3mill, + 8th 3.5 mill etc.

30pts GM Training Package

10 per player max, can be used on Pro or Farm Players

SP,SK,PA,PC,DF,SC 1-3 in each stat
IT,ST,DI,EN 1-5 in each stat
DU,EX,LD 1-10 in each stat
*In season 2 GMs may have to purchase this package*

Team Captains and Assitants

C + 10 LD and A + 5
If you try to move your Captain the deal must be aproved by 3 of the 4 board members If you trade your C he will lose 15 LD and your A will lose 8 LD

Any team that keeps there captains( C and 2 A s ) for the whole year will get a special bonus package ( for EX and LD ONLY ) to add to other palyers besides the C and 2 A s. This package will be 20 ( max of 1-3 in each EX or LD )points to be added to some of your younger players as many teams will have Captains and A s with 99 EX and LD and just like in real hockey this rubs off on other players. No one will get points untill the start of the next season but only if they have the same 3 guys and those 3 will be the same 3 for the next season. Now for any GM that takes there extra package and then deals one of the 3, each player that got points put in to there LD or EX will lose twice as much as the GM put in.

Waivers/Farm Players

Waivers
The age for waivers will be set at 28 and 30 gms, but if you try to put a guy 73+ OV on the farm team there is a good chance he will hold out or demand a trade.

Farm Players
Now a farm player that reaches 73 OV will want a pro shot just like in real hockey now if you have 4 lines of 75 + that may be understood. If this player does not get a pro shot he may hold out or demand a trade.

Releasing

Ok when releasing a player you pay 50% of his contract as shown on the Player Vitals link when your looking over your rosters so a player with a 3 yr 600k contract will cost you 900k to release so keep this in mind.

Unassigned Players / Free Agents

Unassigned Players
each team will get 1 shot at signing a player via a email to me and ill pick the top 5 realistic offers and team situations, then each of those 5 teams will have a chance to either change or stand pat with there offers in the subject line ill need the players first and last name OV and your team ie CLB,BOS etc then in the main, contract offer and remember its the most realistic offer/ team situation that will allow any player to ink wiht a team. Some players will sign right away and others will wait ill make random selections on who inks and who waits for more offers. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE RULES YOUR OFFER WILL NOT BE COUNTED THIS MEANS DO NOT ICQ ME A OFFER EMAIL ONLY!

RFA/UFA

RFA s- Ok this is how its going to work any player that is 29 and under is a RFA and there team can try and re-sign him. This is how its going to happen you put the players name and contract if you want to put in stats as well( saves me time ) then your offer, 3 things could then happen.

1- The player inks with your team. ( good offers will get this result alot )

2- The player will pass on the offer and wait untill the end of the season to listen to offers. ( offers that are so-so will get this some of the time or alot )

3- The player will hold out for the remainder of the season or untill he is traded or gets a offer he feels is what he needs to stay with your team.( stupid offers or offers I feel are just nuts will get this alot )

Keep your offers realisitc ( I look to the NHL for a avg. for guys ) if your offer is stupid and a insult to the player this will hold alot of weight if he inks with your team at that time or at the end of the season.

UFA s- Ok this is how the UFA s will work any player 30 and older with one year left on there contract will be a UFA at seasons end. Now each gm will have 2 options.

1- Do nothing you dont have to ink a UFA during the season, you can try to do so at seasons end. ( the one draw back is if the player kills it he will want more $$$ )

2- Each team can try to ink 1 UFA during the season. Yes its the same in 99% of the sims out there but since the HHHL is a bit different here is the catch at seasons end ( after the playoffs ) each and every team will have a period of time to ink any UFAs they wish. ( this period will not be long at all so it will be a rush for sure ) Now for UFA s pretty much the same thing Players name contract then your offer for him again you can add stats as that will be a big factor for UFA s. Now for UFA offers 2 things will happen,

1- The UFA will ink with your team ( this will happen often as most UFA s if given a fair offer will stay with that current team )

2- The UFA will not ink the deal and will want to try for FA and see what he can get. Some guys are just after the $$$$ and others will hope that a team with a better shot at the cup will step up and ink them, or go to a young team that seems ready to take that next step.

Things A Offer Can Have In It

1- Signing Bounus: good for UFA s and RFA s
2- Performance Bounus: ONLY FOR PLAYERS THAT WILL PLAY and have a shot to make the extra money if not the offer will be conted as stupid. ( ex. 1 mill for 30 goals and he will play farm or 4th line.)
3- No Trade Clause: good for older UFA s as they will feel safe and so-so for RFA s, a not on these is the player will decide if he wishes to invoke this clause not the GM and it WILL BE INFORCED so be careful when offering it.
4- Length Of Contract: min 1 yr, max no limit. I know every GM is looking at this with big smiles and looking at all there young guys. This will be the biggest factor in the stupid offers. So before you start sending 8 yr deals for every young guy on your team, remember guys that ink long term deals are guys that are SC 1 or 2, PP 1 or 2, PK 1 or 2 guys that are a HUGE part of your team and thats why you want them to stay no farm player is inking a 8 yr deal to play farm hockey so please use your heads on this one.
5- Player conditions: Thats right the players( agent ) may ask for any of the above mentioned 1 - 4 but the most interesting thing will be the ice time demand. ( this will apply alot to long term deals for younger players )If a young player is going to invest 4 + years for your team he will want to be on the ice not on the farm team or playing 5 min a game.
6-RFA COMP LIST

55-60 : 5th rounder this year and 100k

61-65 : 2 4th rounders 1 comming this year and 1 next year and 250k

66-70 : 2 3rd rounders 1 comming this year ans 1 next year and 500k

71-75 : 1 1st rounder and 2 2nd rounders the 1st comming this year and one 2nd comming this year and the other next year and 2 mill.

76-80 : 3 1st rounders and 2 2nd rounders and 5 mill 1 1st and 2nd this year and the next picks within the next 3 years.

81+ :5 1st rounders and 10 mill 1 1st this year and the next picks within the next 5 years.


A player that is 29 with 1 yr left on his contract will be a RFA until seasons end. As most of you know every player has the same birthday in the sim so at season end he will turn 30 and become a UFA but only if he is not inked by seasons end.

A final note the max for a player contract will be 12 Mill per season as I dont want guys making 20 mill in a few years I'll change the max every year or so.

NEW ARENA

If you feel you want to build a new Arena the cost is 200 Million ( seems pretty high eh!! )

Now this is where I see who wants a new arena or not, if you want to lower this 200 mill price tag you must do the following.

Main Sponser- This is to be a MAJOR business in your city ( has to be real ) and it will also be your Name Sponser as well finding this will eat up 100 mill of the cost ( not to bad for some time on the net ).

Minor Sponsers- you must find 2 minor sponsers as well and should be pretty big players in your city ( has to be real ) this will eat up another 60 mill of the cost ( again not bad )

Write Up Of the Deal- I will also need a write up of the deal including your sponsers, and other things that should be in a write up of this nature. Location, why, maybe how it will look ( pic off the net or whatever ) and things like that. A half assed one will knock 10 mill off but a really good one will knock 20 mill off ( this one will have to be quite indepth and well put together.

Now after all this is done your left with 30 or 20 mill for the cost of your new rink, and keep in mind this has to be built and if you dont want to find a real company to build your rink it will take 2 Full Seasons to get done but if you find a Local Construction Company ( must be BIG and real ) it will take just 1 season to get your new rink built.
