The Hall of SHAME!

Edition No:4    September 2005

Hall of Shame Mission Statement

This site is dedicated to expose those shameful people who think they can lie, cheat, steal and violate the principles of basic humanity and remain anonymous. As you are aware, my involvement with Cameroon began through the glazed eyes of a tourist. After a sham marriage and the loss of my life savings to the corrupt judiciary, I now see the plight of Cameroonians through much clearer eyes. It is through fiercely protected anonymity, by those involved, that corruption heads down its unbending path. These are the same people sitting in the pew next to you in church on Sundays, who are stealing the food from your mouth and your children’s education on Mondays. I say, lets take a look at these people and let them enjoy the sleepless nights that they inflict upon others. Exposure of these peoples' acts of shame is the strongest tool to drive others away from these evil practices.

Is Cameroon so far down the toilet bowl of corruption that it is beyond help? I think not, but the fact that many wear their crimes as medals to their cleverness, and worse, that others aspire in the same way to achieve like goals is a mentality worthy of standing against.

Submissions

Please feel free to send your own corruption or injustice stories. Each month contributions highlighting the difficulties of those that may not have found the means to voice their issues will be considered. Of course I would need to check story validity depending on its contents, but we won’t be shying away from what needs to be said. Consider this your newsletter and within reason there shall be no censorship. Photos can be published also, if they enhance your tale. Its early days and may take a couple of editions to get into the flow of things, but no target is too big. My philosophy is fairly simple “A thief is a thief”. I don’t discriminate on age, colour, race or sex. I do request that you use this forum for the purpose it is intended. Thanks.

From The Editors Desk

Dear Fellow Corruption Haters,

Wow, what a great month. Ive been inundated with people’s stories/experiences and the newsletter subscriptions continue to grow. Its been so busy that the “Relocation Program” I spoke about last month has now been put back till October’s issue.  (Not to be missed)

It’s been a busy month; with corruption rearing it’s evil head in the most public of places. As they say, “It all comes out in the wash”, and looks like theres going to be some heavy duty washing(ton) happening.  I know thats a weak joke, but I couldnt resist. You have to keep some sense of humor amongst this mess.

This month we’re beginning to focus on criminal actions from those who are there to uphold the law, while next months in-depth report on the Fako Appeal Court and it’s inability to function within a legal framework will be the main focus, along with exposing the criminal actions of the banking institutions which prey on customers funds, like vultures on a rotting carcass.  No:1 on the hit list is SGBC bank and the thieves operating it, also it’s French counterpart (Soc Gen) who accept these criminal actions as part of their institution. They know full well, that with the corrupt court system in Cameroon they’ll never be made to answer for their crimes.

But that’s next month’s story, so now, lets sit back and randomly spray some bullets from the Hall of Shame shotgun at a mixed bag of corrupt individuals.

Alas, we must say goodbye to Thief Etahoben (Shame File # 2) as he now drifts into the obscurity of previous Hall of Shame issues. Goodbye Chief, oops I mean thief. You can write another article about me if you wish, just be sure to send me a copy!        Weakly Post Article

Lets keep on hammering away and shaming those thieves who steal from us. Have a great month everybody and all the best.       Glenn

Praise File #2

Ni John Fru Ndi

Ni John Fru Ndi, is the chairman of the Social Democratic Front (SDF). He gave the voiceless Cameroonians a voice by starting a political party that was not welcome at the time. Fru Ndi is a very honest and diligent man. He has stood his grounds rather than be corrupted by the Cameroonian government. Due to his out spoken nature the Cameroonian government has been toeing the line to an extent. He is influenced by his Christian beliefs, which make him to speak against corruption and nepotism without fear. Cameroonians should give him a thumbs up. Let me end with this quote of his, “It is the role of government to provide an environment that liberates the forces of creativity in a country. Problems should be a challenge, not an alibi to a government; leaders are measured not only by their success but also by their striving".

My 2 Cents !

To The South West Province Judiciary, (Attorney General-Chief Ekoko Ben Duala)

This message is to those in the Southwest judiciary intent on stealing property belonging to me. This is my proposal to resolve this long-standing matter in some type of positive way. I do not care for your finger pointing and your shameful use of your positions and the courts to assist in this theft. I have more respect for the thief who steals from the market through hunger, than the greed and maliciousness shown by those in the Cameroon judiciary in this matter. I can assure you that it will not be in your interest to continue in this exercise, all the while exposing the hazards to foreign investors in Cameroon. The only good thing I could say regarding the Cameroon judiciary is that it doesnt discriminate; it will plunder, frustrate, cheat and steal from anyone!

My terms are quite simple and are as follows.

a)   The 2 Cameroonian drivers possessing the Balance & Take contract vehicles that were illegally removed and impounded by the court are to be compensated (@ fcfa 50,000 per week) for loss of income. This period shall commence from the time of impoundment in August 2002 and shall be of a minimum value of fcfa 7,200,000 per contract.

b)   The rent that has been illegally collected from the compound in Towe Quarter, is to be collected from those who benefited from the theft.  Three years @ fcfa 50,000 per month, a minimum value of fcfa 1,800,000.  To be held in trust for disbursement to facilitate local projects in Cameroon of my choosing.

c)   The Compound at Towe Quarter and the adjoining land I purchased, is to be put up for sale for a sum of no less than fcfa 10,000,000. To be held in trust for disbursement to facilitate local projects in Cameroon of my choosing.

d)   The court grants me a divorce from this sham marriage and the Cameroonian woman from Kembong village.

As you can see the only request I make for myself is a divorce. This matter may well show if there is any legal value to any written contract in Cameroon, (I do hold the original copies of the two contracts). Hopefully this matter can be resolved without me having to make further statements to Cameroons Head of State and other International bodies regarding the state of affairs in the Cameroon judiciary. If this claim is not successfully met, future claims shall include; interest arrears & loss of income claims. Again, all shall be donated to village level health and educational projects in Cameroon.

All the best,  Glenn Wilson

Is This The World's Most Corrupt and Shameless Judiciary?

Fetishes Scare Litigants, Lawyers In Buea Court.
Some fetish powder sprinkled at the entrances of the courtroom and the President of the court, Magistrate Nyamndi's office, scared besuited lawyers, litigants and officials of the Buea Magistrate Court. Last year, police arrested some suspected sorcerers on the premises of the Southwest Court of Appeal during the Preliminary Inquiry into the Eseme murder trial

Comment:
F
or example if a magistrate in Cameroon reads this piece today from me and I happen to find myself before him that is when he will let me know there is law in Cameroon. He will say, "Since you said there is no law in Cameroon I will let you know there is law here" Then he will let me have a taste of it. Whatever there is as law in Cameroon is for revenge, and to prove who the boss is. It is far from being an instrument to regulate society for peaceful co-existence.  (Name removed)

Name: Ketuanze Jacob

Residence: Limbe / Mamfe

Aliases: Fey Magistrate,

               Mamfe Mafia,

             Jigger Foot.

Is it true that Ketuanze Jacob is now the President of the Court in Mamfe? God help Manyu!

Finally I get my chance to speak openly to the person who tried to have me jailed and deported while I was still sick from being poisoned, so as to steal my savings. You involved yourself with soldiers accosting me with rifles at SGBC bank for a second attempted theft and then had your bail & bond boy illegaly released from jail, for organizing this shameful and dangerous incident. Then miraculously all the documents disappear from your office. You then interfered in the matter before the Fako Appeals Court that ended with the removal of the Court President (Justice Mokwe) on false allegations of corruption by fictitious witnesses, etc, etc, etc.  I hope you are proud of yourself!

Ketuanze Jacob – Investigations

I heard that you threatened to jail me if I returned to Cameroon, because I posted your picture on the web.  Let me tell you thief Ketuanze, its people like you who scare away investors and cause great hardships to Cameroonians. I will post photos of you on the net anytime I choose. I shall also print the stories of other Cameroonians who have suffered from your thievery. Just like Barrister Eno, your true justice is coming in the detailed descriptions of your crimes in my book on corruption in Cameroon.  In any country other than Cameroon, I hold enough evidence to see you jailed for a long time, but what does the Cameroon Government do? Promote you of course!

Your actions clearly show why any foreign investor should stay clear of Cameroon, with a Government that nurtures thieves and criminals like you in its judicial system. How is your small bagman from Limbe? (Robert Agbor Toko). Many of those victims to whom you sent Agbor Toko to collect your ill-gotten monies, have sent me their stories. How is your criminal dealing with SGBC Bank going?  Maybe you have brought too much shame this time and the Government will give you your justice; Cameroon style!  If not, I shall keep reminding them that there is a thief in their midst.

Further Info on Ketuanze Jacob.

(Eno Lawless Chambers)

Residence: Buea

Alias: “belle for shit"

Eno Chambers di dry like man way i get posh belle

Well, well, well……Barrister Eno Charles Agbor, Now where do we start with you? I don’t think there is enough space to even get close to covering all your shameful dealings.  You’re not even a good driver are you? You missed your chance to give me that “accelerated” hearing in the High Court grounds. I’m betting you regret that now, (missing that is).

Barrister Eno Charles Agbor- Complaint lodged with PG.

Lets see,..you lie, you steal, you cheat, you even accuse Presidents of the court of being corrupt, (and lets not forget your forged document and fraud of 3,500,000 cfa).

I’ll let the president of the court tell the story of your actions in his own words.

Affidavit-Justice Teddy Misime Mokwe / President of The Fako High Court

You even drew Judge Chibili into your web of lies and you both got caught out, trying to sell a compound I purchased. My experience with you, was with someone who was determined to act in any way to relieve me of my property. You wanted the 4WD so badly; well you can have it, or what is left on the spare block opposite the American Embassy in Yaoundé.

Fortunately for you I’m more interested in the Magistrates and Judges who chose to act alongside you.  Is it true that Magistrate Ketuanze Jacob fled to Mamfe? I have not missed a detail about your disgusting and beastly behaviors in my book. That you made a false & damaging report against a Gendarme Brigade commander in your attempted theft, shows your malicious attitude. I hope your colleagues appreciate your effort to shame them and paint them as the most corrupt and uncivilized judiciary in the world. While your peers stand alongside people like yourself and say nothing, then they should not complain now, when they are tarred with the same brush.

I asked you very pleasantly on two occasions to resolve this matter by negotiation, but your greed told you that you could cheat me for the lot.

Understand what you have brought upon yourself and your cohorts. I earned that money, it belongs to me.     I will fight you to the death while I breathe, and never allow you and your likes to steal it from me this way.
That is my promise to you.

Let me introduce you to this pupil Barrister destined to find himself under investigation to be debarred by the Cameroonian Bar Assoc, just like his mentor, Eno Charles.  Mr Mbianyor, I haven’t much to say to you, other than I hope it sits well with the Judges in Buea, that they know you lied and made false allegations against one of their own (Justice Mokwe) causing his removal. It is through your actions that I get to pinpoint certain Judges (upcoming shame files) and throw a blanket over the whole Judiciary in Fako. You seriously are much too dull to be a lawyer, if that is what you call running around behind Eno Charles and carrying the tail of his robe to keep it from the mud. Just so we understand each other Tanyi Mbianyor, you are a thief, a liar and a cheat. Any fool who visits your chambers will get what they deserve. You disgrace your tribe, your colleagues and your country.

Washington Embassy

Ambassador H.E. Mendouga

C
ameroon’s US Ambassador Accused Of Embezzling FCFA 2.3 Billion.
For those who have recently visited that monster of a house, the image it gives of Cameroon, is that of a stinking carcass," states the report.
The investigators have challenged Mr. Biya and his government "to order an immediate investigation into the scandal and level with the Cameroonian people on his combat against corrupt officials.

Cameroon Can't Survive Without Corruption.
H.E Mendouga. Is he a looting agent? Is it true that he has stolen FCFA 2.3 billion? Is he a diplomat who 'takes' money for 'doing' one thing and uses it for another thing altogether? But this cannot be a surprise for Cameroonians.

Comment:
I shall quote from Mr FRU:
"For those who have recently visited that monster of a house, the image it gives of Cameroon (republique du Cameroun), is that of a stinking carcass," states the report"

Actually, the house is an accurate reflection of Cameroon itself, a huge stinking, rotting carcass! Inso facto, Mr Mendouga is a great Ambassador, because he reflects that country's true values.

Southern Cameroonians should stop wasting their time, that latrine pit of a country will not change until it is completely decomposed. Time to extricate ourselves instead of trying to help them last longer. Furthermore Mr Inoni has no power against the Beti Lords, such as Mendouga. He is an anglofool nonentity in the minds of his overlords. Let him try, he will instantly be crushed underfoot like an impertinent insect.   Anti-corruption drive is for the minor players only.         (Name removed)

"Is this stinking carcass a reflection of Cameroon’s Image?"

Comment:
The regime fears attacking or holding her own corrupt ambassadors accountable for fear of the fact that their own crimes could be revealed, even when such Ambassadors, typical of that of Washington, DC, made away with state funds destined to purchase a new Presidential plane as he also made away with 2.3 Billion destined for the reconstruction or renovation of the DC Embassy.  (Name removed)

Comment:
I do know the embassy is hopeless to deal with!  A few years ago, a Cameroonian friend living in the USA, sent me a letter. He went there to get a visa, and pounded on the door without response…he said that in THE DOORWAY OF ‘OUR’ EMBASSY, THERE WAS JUNK PILED UP SO HIGH HE HAD TROUBLE GETTING PAST IT. He said years before, he had been there and it had been the same.  On another occasion, a woman opened a little flap in the door and said WHAT DO YOU WANT?   He was truly angry about Cameroon’s reputation……..        (Name removed)

Comment:
Take a critical look at that Embassy of Cameroon. What do you see? With the heat and humidity wave over that D.C area these days the clerks in this office are sure baking in the heat of that office. It is a disgrace. Putrid stench, and sheer filth are what emanates from that office. One of my friends was telling me the other day they were going to call city officials to check out this embassy for code violations. If this were to happen that "thing" will undoubtedly be shut down. In fact, the last time I went into those offices was last winter for some official business. The temps were about 30 degrees in there. There was no heat. Clerks were hovered around little space heaters to keep them from freezing, while at one corner passports were strewn all over bare floor. It is an image that will hardly leave my mind. I felt like using the bathroom while I was in there but then said to myself: forget it". I'd rather wait and go to a McDonalds around the corner.    (Name removed)

   UPDATES

Vice Chancellor Dr Njeuma

Good for the Academic Dustbin

The vicious manner with which Dr Njeuma Dorothy Limunga, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea [UB] handled the recent student strike plus the way she has been running that institution indicates that she is either suffering from amnesia or menopausal administrative depression.

Her blunder not to dialogue with the striking students on the credence that they were too young enough to be her grand-children did not only reduce the UB students to nippers and orphans but equally portrayed this 'Grand Mothers' brain as having reached an advanced stage of decay. And to further demonstrate her incompetency at the helm of UB as well as in handling the students` grievances, Njeuma thought UB was her personal estate and ordered students to sign a Good Conduct Undertaking ironically just after inviting semi illiterate police and gendarmerie officers to torture, rape, loot property killing three students.

Satanically sacrilegious, this UB Vice Chancellor is running a juju house with a shrine and a live dog buried in it in an academic milieu. Rumours holds that at the peak of student riots she visited this ungodly shrine stark naked at the womb of darkness. Was this aimed at supplicating super natural powers to oust evil spirits from the striking students or to help her amass more wealth on the pretext of the strike?

And come to think of the notoriety of the Njeumarite xenophobia, the turning of this University into a breeding ground for CPDM party support and the using of UB vehicles to transporting ambulant voters to vote for the ruling party on election days in Buea. Just as we wrap up this Newsletter, Radio Buea has just been repeatedly announcing Njeuma`s suspension of the Convocation Graduation Ceremony on grounds that students` characters have been 'unworthy'. This act puts an end to the conviviality, colour, entertainment and ambience that usually characterise and epitomise UB as the unique Anglo-Saxon institution in Cameroon. Who says Njeuma is not good for academic dustbin and Cameroon Hall of Shame?

                                    By Bill Shiyntum

Editors note: Hall of Shame has just been informed that Vice Chancellor Njeuma has taxed all University of Buea students, fcfa 2000 to pay for damage inflicted upon the University. Shame on you Madam Njeuma! Hall of Shame will revisit this matter in coming months. ( I think we shall sing a song for you).

Njeuma Tightens Noose On UB Students Union.

Fallout Of UB Strike: Senate Cancels 2005 Convocation.

Subject:  Hi Glenn

It is enthralling to read all this news captions about corruption in
Cameroon. Am so pleased by your actions and by your devotion to
helping the poor people of Cameroon subjected to decades of misery
imposed on them by leaders that pitifully only care for their bellies.

I'm a Cameroonian but I will never say the name Cameroon without a
tinge of remorse about the vanity and null state of justice existing in
my own Country. There is no place like home but must one bare the
Scourge of other people's greed to show patriotism. I strongly decry
that and I can never see myself being of service to a system that is for
ever blood thirsty, where human life is worth a toilet paper to them.

I sit here writing to you in shame because you, though as a foreigner
has taken the plight of my Cameroon to levels and the attention of the
world far more than I could have personally done!!

Cameroon is rotten and the G8 leaders should strongly reconsider the
idea of putting Cameroon as one of the beneficiaries of the poorly
indebted countries debt relief initiative. With a system like the Biya
regime, it will be like putting a golden ring on a pigs Nose!! The money
will end up back in private accounts in the west!

Cheers and move ahead Glenn

Dear HE Paul Biya

Oh, come on Mr. Biya!

Can't you see you are inflicting grave pain and suffering on Cameroonians? Don't you know that Cameroonians have had enough of your malicious and perverse system of government? Oh, yeah; you made an eloquent and lofty speech promising my fellow countrymen milk and honey under the theme 'Grandes Ambitions"
Old Fox, we're not strangers to all your unfulfilled promises. Old habits really die hard...you have been making the same promises since you came to power in 1982. You're a swift manipulator...don't ever consider yourself a good leader. We thought things were going change this time around under the new "Grandes Ambitions" but...it seems you meant "Grandes Suffrance"
Now, you have acquired an awesome, expensive and luxurious aircraft, plaited with gold and silver. Have you ever paused in a moment and take stock of all what you have done over the years? Don't you think the cost price of that airbus is enough money to revamp the economy and create jobs for our jobless youths? I think you're in a state of dilemma! Can't you see this purchase is too heavy for a country that failed to reach its completion point of the Heavily Indebted Poor countries Initiative?
In my humble opinion, this purchase is premature and unwarranted. My fellow brothers, the hour has come...we have to put hands on deck and do something to rescue our mother country. Let's say "Peace to the people...War against Tyrants" God Help Us Your Chosen People!!!

“To put it mildly, the economic and corporate environment in Cameroon is reminiscent of the Wild West, where everything goes and nothing is what it seems to be“.

“Most importantly, the rule of law is non-existent and justice is for the dogs. Successive Ministers of Justice have decried the corruption in Cameroon's courts. There is no way of holding thieving company executives accountable to private investors. It is not in our culture to hold "big men" to account for their crimes“.

“The DSX is likely to degenerate into a thieving exchange where unwitting investors are prised of their hard earned capital“.
