My reasons for running Find-A-Drug (FAD)

The reasons that I have are not the same as some members of FAD family. I do not have any strong personal reasons for running this program. Or perhaps I do after spending 20 years going to many different countries. I once entered a city that had been under siege for 4 years only 10 days after the fighting had stopped. To see that even in this dire situation that the spirit of the people had not been broken. If one new drug is developed from all the molecules that I search it will make up for the effort 10 times and if not then it will still make up for the effort by proving which molecules are not worth looking at. This will benefit all of mankind, not just a select few.

A little bit about me

At the "old" age of 17 I joined the US Air Force with a job in Satellite Telecommunications, a job I stayed in for over 20 years. My first assignment had me traveling every year from to Canada, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Holland, and The United Kingdom. That was from 1983-1989. Now off to Korea 90-91. Then I got to go back to Germany. In the time there I traveled to Italy, France, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, and Luxemburg. This was in the  91-99 time frame. Went back to the States for a little over 2 years then off to Korea again spending 17 months there before retiring. I am now living in The Philippines with my wife.
