Conclusion of Unit
Lesson one: Graphing our Favorite Season
Circle time:
Hold a discussion about the past two days.
What the students liked, disliked, enjoyed and learned.
Take a class vote of which season they liked the most. Ask for some of them
to provide reasoning to their choice.
Record the answers and graph the results on the board. Use symbols that represent
the seasons to show quantity.
Discuss the results with the students, which season is most liked, which season
is not. Why they think that is and how does that relate?

Lesson two: Making a season’s book
Give each student back the four pieces of artwork they completed over the course of the unit. Put the pieces in order from fall to summer. Add an additional piece of paper to each season for the students to write down facts, characteristics, new words, and likes about each. When they are finished connect the book with a hole punch and string.
