A1. The best computer game ever.
Q2. Why do people ask if im 'Legit'?
A2. (Sigh) It is a bit silly! LOL. If you were a Hacker you would not answer NO anyway LOL. A better question would be 'What's the definition of 'Legit'?
Q3. OK then What's the definition of 'Legit'?
A3. Legit to most people means - You are playing with honour and true to the creators original intentions. Also that you are not using a PC Hacking Program or GameShark or Xploder type Cheat Disc or Device. Now this is all well and good however there are one or two grey areas. Say you are a Ranger Class then you are more likely to find Hunter and Force Weps than your own. This is due to Sonic Team are very into people helping each other and they had this idea of people trading with each other and helping each other. Great thinking however the virtual world and reality are alike there exists good therefore there exists bad too. So you may play the game honestly but you have to question any item traded or gifted to you. If an items stats are suspect then the item is likely dodgy for eg. a mag thats over lev200 or over lev50 but doesnt have 3 photon blasts! Play the game normally or totally legit and you will be respected. But dont preach because we all have our own ideas and opinions. I try to earn most stuff myself and if I find good stuff with my high level characters I may give it to my lower level characters to help them. To me this makes sense, as long as I earned it myself. Some may disagree. I do not hack or cheat because i believe hacking and cheating ruins the game. So I do not use cheats.
Q4. I've NEVER seen an AL RAPPY (blue rappy)! Do they exist? Where can I find them?

A4. On the Dreamcast version as far as i am aware the rare versions of Ragol wildlife are unlocked by aquiring all the Level 15 Technique Disks and using them. So after that, AL RAPPY can be found in the Forest Online. Not quite sure about the Gamecube version although I have seen the Love Rappy, Al Rappy, the santa rappy and the red lily. Also sometimes you see bigger versions of El Rappy as well as the usual smaller ones.

Q5. How can I obtain a Sonic Mag?

A5. Cant, doesnt exist. There is a mag called Soniti which is similar sounding to sonic in japanese and this led to an out-of-control internet rumour that there was a hedgehog mag.

Q6.How long will Sega keep the Dreamcast servers going now that PSO has appearing on other platforms/formats?

A6. The Original Official Dreamcast Servers are now all closed. Sega shut down 4 US Ships and 1 JP Ship on 19 Aug 2002. The remaining US ship continued to operate until 30 Sept 2003. The remaining EU ships and one JP ship were left on for some time after this but are now no more. Q7. Will Dreamcast, PC, Gamecube and XBox users be able to play PSO online with each other?

A7. Officially - No. Unofficially - It is possible (with a bit of jiggery pokery) to play on an unofficial private server in which DC v1, DC v2 and PCv2 players are able to mingle. As for GC and X-Box they are to many issues regarding compatibility so you can only play with a HL on the official servers and they are not inter-connected.

Q8. Ive heard people talking about the Loading Screen what are they refering too?
A8. You must know this surely LOL... While the loading screen is on you can move your 'soul' about with the analogue stick, ...whoopee-bloody-doo! On Gamecube Episode 3 you can even play a tune by pressing the A button ....did you really wanna know that? zzzzz
Q. How do I do the TP Trick?
A. Do not do this on Gamecube! On DC ver1 you can replenish your mates TP on normal to vhard difficulty
Warining! Dont use on Ult coz it can lower your mates HP :(

Robots can use the TP Trick by customising Star and Moon Atoms then using them in the same way.

Q. How do I view the DC Ver2 Epilogue?
A. Type in URAENDING at the title screen to see a special ending

Q. How do I do the PB Trick?
A. Customize your quick select tech menu so that either GRANTS or ZONDE are above Resta. Now highlight Resta and press Up and A (while targeting another player) to cast Grants or Resta on your friend. This should increase their PB bar.

Q. How do I just use Resta (or Deband, etc) on myself?
A. When knocked down if you cast Resta it will only heal yourself
If you customize an attack tech under resta you can goto select the atack tech but do Up + A to only heal yourself.

Q. How can I dodge traps and slowdown? Ive seen people run thru a line of traps not getting hurt!
A. When near a Trap or Enemy your character will slow down. To avoid this press start to go into your menu screen and continue running past.
Q. TEKKER is wide! Can I get a better result from the tekker?
A. Well... to a certain extent yup. If you hav enuf meseta when you find an unknown weapon or unknown rare weapon take it to the teker on P2 but dont accept the result until you think its the best he will cough up. A weapon's photon % usually varies by around 20% (Any 0% wont alter tho). See attribute my page for an understanding of attribute orders eg. burning is better than heat.
Q. How do I address a name fast?
A. In a game if you press CTRL + F1 player two's name will appear in your text box. Use CTRL + F2 for player 3 and CTRL + F3 for player 4.
Q. I have heard of a Frozen Shooter Glitch, how do you do that?
A. OK this is a wee bit naughty LOL. In Dreamcast Ver2 (for obvious reason's you need the ver2 rare FROZEN SHOOTER equiped to do this) Use RESTA then quickly use the FROZEN SHOOTER's SPECIAL ATTACK to freeze a targeted player. Natakuing is abusive mkay - gonnae no do that!
Q. I dont understand anyone.. whats all the abbrevitions mean?
A. AFK - Away from keyboard, C1 - We in Caves area 1, F1 - Forest 1, BRB - Be right back, BSOD - Black Screen of Death, D/C - I got disconnected!, DC - Dreamcast, GC - GameCube, K - OKAY, M1 - Mines 1, PK - Player Killer, PM - Private Message, R1 - Ruins 1, SD - Please cast Shifta and Deband on us!,THX or TY - Thank You, TP - Please cast a TELEPIPE, Y - YES
Q. How do I adjust camera view for taking better snapshots?
A. You can move camera view by plugging a controller in PORT B then hold the L shift button to have manual control of the camera. Use the control stick to rotate the camera and use the A and Y button's to zoom in and out

Q. How do i I view PSO thru other peoples cameras
A. This works on Dreamcast version by plugging a 2nd pad in port B.
This doesnt work on P2 or bosses. Also you have to be in the same area as your friend.
Hold Left and Right Shoulder Triggers and D-pad Up to switch between players cameras.
