Instructions for "All About Me" Booklets



Page 1. Front Cover - Take a photo of each child and glue to the front cover.
Page 2. My Name is:  Give each child a piece of lined paper (4"x7") with their name printed along the top.  They can practice writing it .  Glue onto cardstock page when done.
Page 3. My Family:  Give each child a piece of paper (4"x7"). Help them list who is in their family, or draw a pic of their family, or make a small collage of family pics f from magazines on this page. Glue onto cardstock page when done.
Page 4. My Sisters & Brothers:  same as family - if you have kids who don't have any, you can make a Grandparents page for them!!
Page 5. I have a pet:  Or My Favorite Animal is:  Have them draw or cut pics from magazines and glue onto piece of paper (4"x7") Glue onto cardstock page when done.
Page 6. I like the color:  Give each child a piece of paper (4"x7") Have them choose their favorite color marker, crayon or paint and draw a one colored picture!
Page 7. I like to eat:  Give each child a piece of paper (4"x7") Have them cut pics out magazines of their favorite foods.  You could also note their fav foods on this page too!
Page 8. Toys I play with:  List the toys/equipment they most like to play with in the dc.
Page 9. At Home I like to:  Ask them!
Page 10. At Daycare I like to:  Ask them!  Add pic from  Day 18 - "A New Me" Dressup Activity
Page 11.  My Handprint!  Give each child a piece of paper (4"x7") and glue onto cardstock when dry.
Page 12.  My Footprint!  Give each child a piece of paper (4"x7") and glue onto cardstock when dry.
Pages 13/14.  All About Me:  Interview the kids, observe them and fill in the blanks!
Page 15.  I Can Do it...All by Myself:  Give them stickers or have them stamp the areas that they can do by themselves - you can adjust each child's achievements based on their age. 
Page 16.  My Self Portrait!  Give each child a piece of paper (4"x7") and glue onto cardstock when done.
