Buehneman Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties)

Buehneman Shelties is located on a small acreage in Southeastern Iowa. I have been involved in AKC events with my Shetland Sheepdogs since 1983, starting first in the obedience ring and herding events completing many obedience titles, and several of my dogs received there Herding Certificates (the early herding activities). I have been the breeder of 14 AKC Champions, including one Owner Breeder Handler, Best In Show, "Ch Buehneman's Here's To You" (Cheers). Pictured above is "Buehneman's Despite The White" (Desi). He currently has 14 points which include 3 specialty majors, all of his points have been won Breeder/owner/Handled under Breeder Judges. Show Brag!!! "DESI is now the sire of a major pointed daughter!!! Buehneman's Call My Bluff "Loka" picked up a 3pt. major from the 9-12 class in January at Des Moines, IA!!!

WOW THERE'S MORE SHOW NEWS FOR OUR "Loka"!!! At the ASSA National, she was 4th in the 9-12 sable puppy bitch class, a quality packed class, handled by Amy Massey!

We have 3-4 litters of shelties a year, and occasionally have Sable/White Sheltie Puppies available for Companion Pet, Performance, and Show Prospect homes, Check the New Arrivals and Available Pages for more information!
