The University of Perpetual Help Rizal relaunched "Barya mo...Buhay Ko" project of the Bantay Bata 163 last November 19, 2001 at the UPHR Main Lobby.
"Barya mo...Buhay Ko" coin bank was the fund raising project of the Bantay Bata Movement of the ABS-CBN Foundation launched last October 1997 nationwide. The campaign's mission is to create and provide a safe , nurturing and loving environment where children can develop and realize their full potentials and become productive members of the society.
The scheme aims to inculcate to the Perpetualites the value of showing their concern to the less fortunate and abused children of the society.
Mrs. Bona Mae Tiongson,Dean of Student Affairs delivered an inspirational talk and emphasized the virtue of sharing Representatives from the Elementary and High School Deparment, as well as, the College of Arts and Sciences rendered a series of intermission numbers during the event.
Mr. Ruel Lavapie, the Prefect of Discipline and SSC-Adviser delivered the closing remarks.
The said event was organized by the Supreme Student Council officers headed by Ms. Diana Dimayuga, Secretary.
