This episode focuses on an overweight girl named Jodi.

Lex meets Chloe Sullivan, and tells her that he's heard that she has some theories on mataphysical changes that have happened as a result of the meteors.

Lex tells Chloe that she has a friend at the daily planet if she's interested in a summer job.

Lex meets with Dr. Steven Hamilton, a discredited doctor who Lex hopes will help him learn more about the mystery of the changes caused by the meteors. Dr. Hamilton gives Lex a Kryptonite rock.

An old friend of the Kents named Earl Jenkins, comes to Smallville looking for help. Earl use to work on the Kent Farm for several years before taking a janitor job at LuthorCorp. in Metropolis. While there he came accross an experiment where corn was sprayed with a fertilizer that, when mice would eat the corn, they would begin shaking and jittering. Earl now has this infection and he needs to get inside a possibly-fictional "Level Three" of Luther's fertilizer plant to find a cure for his jitters.

A kids science class takes a tour of the LutherCorp. fertilizer plant., where we meet Chloe's father Gabe, who runs the plant and tells embarrassingly bad jokes that humiliate Chloe.

Appereantly the special effects in this eppisode are very good.
EPISODE #9 - "ROGUE"

Clark visits Metropolis, and does a good deed which migh remind some people of the first "super" feature that was done by Clark in Lois and Clark pilot episode.

A police Officer witnesses this even and decides to look into it. He calls Lex Luthor but only to ask about Clark. He reminds Lex that he knows about his past in order to get Lex to talk. The investigator finds out that Clark happened to be around many accidents in the recent months, and he decides to look into it.

This episode will not have a "freak of the week"!

This episode will be one of many to feature Kelly Brook as Lex's former girlfriend.

Superficially, it seems like Lex and Victoria might start working on a plan to "cannibalize their fathers' empires." Although it seems like Victoria may be looking through Lex's files and learns that Lex may be investing in a "bio-tech firm" called STAR labs

One of Lex's "help," named Amy, is obsessed with Lex and very jelous of Victoria.

Amy has a boyfriend named Zach who finds out about her obsession with Lex.

The "villain" in this episode seems to be some kind of ghost that "shimmers in the mist."

Something may be wrong with Whitney's health or his father's.
