Ali-Khan finishes second at Cross-County meet

At the WesternInternational Cross-County Meet in London, Ontario last Friday, Sarah-Ali-Khan led all McGill runners by finishing second in the women’s 5km race. Ali-Khan crossed the finish line with a time of 18:13, placing her eight seconds behind first place finisher Debbie Buhlers from the University of Waterloo. Other top McGill women’s runners were Nicole Portley who finished in eighth and Carly Moher who finished in 15th place. As a team the McGill women finished fourth. Unfortunately the men’s cross-country event was cancelled due to an electrical storm.
