Training is provided for Level I, II, or III (the highest) certification per A C. E. - TAC - 1 and including SNT-TC-1A and MIL-STD-410.
Education is provided by A C. E. and/or by an approved vendor. College credits are issued according to applicable policies and program difficulty.
Training focuses on applications rather than on theory, whereas education focuses on higher reasoning rather than on opinion. In lay terms, certified personnel follow specification requirements, right or wrong (if it is wrong, it is the responsibility of the specifier), whereas educated personnel follow logic.

Training for Certification

Frank Gagliardo of Siemens / Westinghouse Technical Services of New Jersey, a business of Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc., enlisted the aid of Waukesha Electric Systems in providing electric power in the State of New York.
Frank had worked on many special projects previously, such as involving World Trade Center engineering invulnerability efforts prior to the 9/11/01 terrorism strikes, and such as efforts to get customer(s) to understand the importance of utilizing petroleum protective coatings with regard to extremely dangerous high power electricity system platforms.
A C. E. provided Frank and other experts from various states with training and education relative to electrical system vulnerability along with current electrical system problems encountered, after which solutions were implemented.
