Declaration of Faith
"We
Do Believe"
In the God Head manifested in
the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Matt 28:19 Go ye
therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost:
Matt 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the
water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the
Spirit of God descending like a
dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased.
Col 2:9 For in
him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
In the Virgin Birth of Jesus
Christ.
Matt 1:23 Behold,
a virgin shall
be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
In the Deity of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
John 1:1-3 In the
beginning was the Word (JESUS -Rev 19:13), and the Word (JESUS) was with God,
and the Word (JESUS) was God. The
same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him (JESUS); and
without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:10 He
(JESUS) was in the
world, and the world was made by
him (JESUS), and the world knew him not.
John 1:14 And
the Word (JESUS) was
made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and
we beheld his glory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 8:24 I said
therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I
am he, ye shall die in your sins.
1 Tim 3:16 And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was
manifest in the flesh, justified
in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the
world, received up into glory.
Repentance is necessary to
salvation.
Luke 13:3 I tell
you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Acts 3:19 Repent
ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the
presence of the Lord;
In water baptism for the
believer after salvation.
Acts 2:38 Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost..
In the verbal inspiration of the
Word of God.
2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Pet 1:21 For
the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but
holy men of God spake as
they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
In the baptism of the Holy Ghost
with evidence of speaking in other tongues.
Mark 16:17 And these
signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongues;
Acts 2:4 And
they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 11:16 Then
remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with
water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:4-6 Then
said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the
people, that they should believe on him which should come after him,
that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name
of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy
Ghost came on them; and they spake
with tongues, and prophesied.
In eternal life for the believer
in Jesus Christ and eternal damnation for the lost (wicked).
Mark 16:16 He
that believeth and is baptized shall
be saved; but he
that believeth not shall be damned.
John 5:29 And
shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of life; and they
that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
In the bodily resurrection of
the Lord Jesus Christ.
Luke 24:39 Behold
my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit
hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
John 2:19-22
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I
will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in
building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the
temple of his body. When
therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said
this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had
said.
1 Cor 15:14-20
And if Christ
be not risen, then is our
preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God;
because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom
he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not,
then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith
is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life
only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is
Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
Matt 27:52-53 And
the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after
his resurrection, and went into
the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Rom 4:25 Who was
delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
In the literal return of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 1:11 Which
also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this
same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall
so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Rev 1:7 Behold, he
cometh with clouds; and every
eye shall see him, and they also
which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Rev 19:11-16 And
I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was
called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make
war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he
had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a
vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the
armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and
clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the nations:
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the
fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his
thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
