How to capture a screen image

If you have seen the page of what my desktop looks like, you will know what I am talking about. This is an example of a screen capture. See how we actually took a picture of what was on the desktop? It it really east to do and all you need is to be running Windows (95 or higher) and have an image editing program (even Paint works). First make sure whatever you want a picture of is launched on the desktop then push the Print Scrn button. Now that copied your desktop.

Go into Microsoft Paint or another image editing program and go Ctrl + v. That will paste it. The program should ask "The image being copied is larger then the original image. Enalrge the present image?" Select "Yes". Then there is your desktop.

If you just want a specific part of it you can select it with the box tool (the one that looks like a broken lined box) and copy it and then paste it the same way. When you get the image you want to save go File -> Save As... Hope this helps.
