The spring growth appeared on the rocks. The season had changed and it was no longer winter at Punta Bufeo.

Jeff found a big orange booger under a rock.

When put into the water, it sprouted eyes and turned into a sea slug.

Under another rock was a speckled sea slug and a brittle star. Here's the brittle star.

And here's the speckled slug.

A small ornately decorated sea slug was under yet another rock.

A weird spiny thing accompanied the ornate slug. No one picked it up. I still don't know whether it was a sea slug or a species of worm.

A small stone crab crawled out to keep the spinything company..

Anemones are always around.

A 20-legged starfish is a not uncommon denizen of these waters.

Urchins are around, but never plentiful. This species was rather large for here.
